Thank you for being here at SBTB and joining our never-ending conversation about romance, from the silly to the awesomesauce. In your honor, I've made a donation to FirstBook, an organization that donates new books to children and schools in need.
Plus, Random House Children's Books is tripling every gift made between now and 31 December, so more books will be donated in time for 2014. (I also just learned that author Patrick Rothfuss has made a fantasy calendar and proceeds benefit FirstBook as well). More reading for all!

We don’t celebrate Christmas but we had a lovely public holiday Australian style – Barbequed lamb and a walk down to the beach for a swim to cool off, and of course read.
First Book is a wonderful organization. Many of us can’t imagine living in a “literacy desert”, a home without books, or adults who can and will read to children. Sadly, it’s all too real for many youngsters. Getting books of their very own into their hands will help promote a love of reading, and that benefits all involved.
Thank you for the heads-up about First Book. Donation now in the pipeline. I cannot imagine a life without books, so I am happy to learn about this group.
