Smart Bitches Thanksgivukkah Celebration - 4th Night

open book and menorahMore digital reading! More giveaways! More Thanksgivukkah Mayhem!

Today's giveaway? I have a Kobo Aura 6″ digital e-Ink reader from Kobo! Thanks, Kobo!!

Kobo Aura eInk Reader

The kind and wonderful folks at KOBO sent me an Aura recently, and said, if I wanted, I could give it away to one of y'all. YAY I DO WANT TO DO THAT, THANK YOU KOBO! So for today's giveaway: one Kobo Aura, their e-Ink reading device with all the bells and whistles except not ACTUAL bells and whistles because that would be annoying.

All you have to do to enter is drop your details in the widget below!

INFORMATION that likely shall be REPEATED. Because it's IMPORTANT.

The widget asks for your first and last name, and after our test over the weekend, I realized that I can't customize that part, and first and last names are required by the widget. However, that information is not posted publicly. As for the data collected, it comes to me, and I would not ever sell or distribute it. I only use it to contact the winner, and will delete the giveaways from the back end once they're done. I won't sign you up for any newsletters (you can do that on your own, for the daily RSS feed and the weekly ebooks on sale newsletters) and I wouldn't ever sell your information. Triple-flip, super-duper-up-and-down, double-downward-facing-dog-dare and also pinky swear.

The widgets make it easier for me to efficiently and legally run a giveaway, especially eight of them in a row. If you have any problems, or if your computer doesn't load it correctly (I understand that within Twitter browsers it can be finicky) please feel free to contact me, and I can help you out.

Standard disclaimers apply: I'm not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. It is, alas, your responsibility to determine whether the device will work where you are, as I can't personally deliver and test it, much as I'd like to because I know that Kobo and the Kobo Aura work in many international locations, though probably not the International Space Station, which is too bad because that would be cool. Must be over 18 and ready to read and run – but not at the same time.

This giveaway will be open for 24 hours, until 1AM ET tomorrow. At 1am, another giveaway will go live, one for each night of Thanksgivukkah. Each giveaway will be a device meant for reading or listening or both, and yes, this is a lot of fun. Also, yes, I have lost my freaking mind. :)

Happy Thanksgivukkah!

    Ooh, very nice :)
Chicago-North has someone from Kobo’s Self-Publishing platform –  Writing Life – coming to our Spring Fling conference in April to talk about this option for authors, should be interesting!

I JUST got an Aura about 2 weeks ago and I really love it.  I used to have a first generation Nook but it finally died a few weeks ago.  So when I got the Aura it was like a whole new world.  Touch screen?  Front lit?  Crisp screen?  Who knew a reader could be so pretty?  So yeah, I’m super happy with my Aura.  If I win, this will be some very lucky person’s Christmas gift.  :-)  Thanks for the wonderful give aways!

I am so excited about this giveaway. I’ve been lusting after the Aura since I first saw it a few weeks ago. I really like my Kobo Mini and my husband enjoys his Kobo Arc (a 7” tablet) so I’m confident in the quality of Kobo products. Thanks for the giveaway!
