Tonight we're feasting and lighting the candles and eating all the things, so let's do one more fun thing! I'm giving away one Kindle Fire HDX 7″ tablet, 16GB, Wifi with Special Offers. YAY!
There is no indication that the Kindle Fire HDX also comes with a Duke or any of His Bonus Materials, but here's hoping.
The Kindle Fire is happily tied to your Amazon Prime account (and if you don't have one, you can sign up for a 30 day free trial with the device). That brings you all manner of goodies, from streaming movies and tv shows to books and magazines and audiobooks, too. The new Fire is lighter weight than previous generations, and is a good media-devouring tablet at a great price.

The widget asks for your first and last name, and after our test over the weekend, I realized that I can't customize that part, and first and last names are required by the widget. However, that information is not posted publicly. As for the data collected, it comes to me, and I would not ever sell or distribute it. @LostShadows – you don’t have to have a Prime account, but I believe it comes with a 30 day free trial, and you can sign up after the trial ends. The Prime membership is sort of designed to go with the Kindle Fires, what with streaming videos and tv shows and whatnot included.

Had a blow out Hanukkah Celebration Block Party last night. Lit a GIANT menorah and listened to the kids shouting “Happy Thanksgivukkah” over and over and over. For some reason they think it is oh so hilarious…..“and you know Auntie it won’t happen again for 77,000 years”. My BFF cousin, whom I haven’t seen in fifteen years is here from Israel with her family for a few months. I am dripping with joy and feel so thankful for all I have.
