It's time to announce the Sizzling Book Club Pick for November!
There are some extra holidays this month – we have Thanksgiving in the US, plus Hanukkah, so we have a lot to celebrate!
This month's pick: Sleigh Bells in the Snow by Sarah Morgan.
This is Morgan's first single title with HQN. We're read her Harlequin Presents for book club, but this is a much bigger story. And it's lovely! Sunita gave it a rare A at DearAuthor, and I've seen readers chatting about how much they've loved reading it on Twitter and Facebook.
Summary? But of course!
Once upon a time, Christmas was Kayla Green's favorite time of year. Now all the workaholic wants for Christmas is for it to be over–as fast as possible! So when duty calls her to snowy Vermont to close a deal with a new client, Kayla is grateful for an excuse to avoid the holidays for another year.
Jackson O'Neil left a thriving business behind to return home and salvage his family's resort–it's in his blood, and he can't let it fail. Now that he's got marketing whiz Kayla Green working with him to put Snow Crystal on the map, success is on the horizon. The fact they strike enough sparks off each other to power all the Christmas lights in Vermont is just an added bonus.
Kayla might be an expert at her job, but she's out of her depth with Jackson–he makes her crave the happy-ever-after she once dreamed of, and it's terrifying. As the snowflakes continue to swirl, will the woman who doesn't believe in the magic of Christmas finally fall under its spell?
As always, All Romance eBooks is offering the 50% eBook Buck rebate if you use code SBTBARE at checkout. The rebate is good from November 1-15, 2013. (Plus, for you lovely folks across the pond at Amz.co.uk, it's currently .59p for a limited time!)
The book club chat date has also been set!
The book club chat will be 21 November 2013 at 9:00pm ET. Sarah Morgan will join us at 10pm ET which is 3am her time – so she'll be EXTRA PUNCHY. It should be VERY fun.
And finally, one last note: this will be the last Sizzling Book Club pick and the end of the Sizzling Book Club.
AllRomance and I agreed that the club had run its course, and it was time to stop. I love having you come to the chats, and I love hearing what you think of the titles we've discussed, and I'm so glad we've had this opportunity to talk online about different romances every month. Thank you for that!
In 2014, I may do a quarterly pick and book discussion, so if you're interested, email me, k?
I hope you'll try Sleigh Bells in the Snow, and that you'll join us for a blowout holiday chat of much mayhem and merriment. Expect shenanigans!
