Federal prosecutor Mickey O'Rourke, known for his relentless style, becomes suddenly tentative in his opening statement, leading Hunt to suspect he’s been threatened – suspicions that are all but confirmed when Hunt is shot in the back.

Savich and Sherlock receive news of the attack as an ominous note is delivered to Savich at the Hoover Building: YOU DESERVE THIS FOR WHAT YOU DID.  Book How to Marry a Millionaire VampireHow to Marry a Millionaire Vampire, Love at Stake, Book 1, by Kerrelyn Sparks is $1.99. This is paranormal romance with lots of humor (I love me some silly paranormals). He's a vampire, and she's a dentist. He broke his fang and visits her late at night to fix it. Like you do.

Roman Draganesti is charming, handsome, rich…he's also a vampire. But this vampire just lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn't have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lop-sided eater for all eternity.

Things aren't going well for Shanna Whelan, either. After witnessing a gruesome murder, she's next on the mob's hit list. And her career as a dentist appears to be on a downward spiral, because she's afraid of blood.

When Roman rescues her from an assassination attempt, she wonders if she's found the one man who can keep her alive. Though the attraction between them is immediate and hot, can Shanna conquer her fear of blood to fix Roman's fang? And if she does, what will prevent Roman from using his fangs on her?

“Bite Me, Your Grace”—haven’t read it, but best title ever!

  2. Heather S says:

“Bite Me, Your Grace” actually caught my eye in the bookstore some months ago. The title clearly conveyed that this book has a sense of humor, and I do love a good, funny read. I never got it, though, and this is why: Kindle sale. LOL Am I the only one who compulsively checks the Kindle Daily Deals every morning?

Right now I’m reading yesterday’s KDD, “Queen’s Gambit”, about Katherine Parr, sixth wife of Henry the Eighth. Love this book and author – she’s so much better than Phillipa Gregory. I’m not even gonna lie.

  3. CarrieS says:

On behalf of my semi starved family – keep the cookbook sales coming 🙂

  4. DonnaMarie says:

I’ve always considered good food part of a good romantic encounter, so this is totally appropriate. Maybe it’s time for a what are you cooking (between chapters)? thread.

  5. SB Sarah says:

DonnaMarie: that’s a great idea! I’ll set up one up!

  6. DonnaMarie says:

YAY!! Food and romance books, what’s not to love!!
