Kristen Ashley, Kristen Callihan and Laura Drake ARCs: A Giveaway

I received some lovely paper advanced reader copies, and because they were for books I already had, I asked if I could give them away. The answer was, “Sure!” so, hey! Want a book that's not out in paper yet? I got two Kristens and a Drake!

Sort of, anyway. I've got one each of the following books. I'm going to use the Rafflecopter to give them away because it's the easiest way when there's more than one thing but they're all different. I know some of you hates the copter, so I apologize if you hates it. If you have trouble entering, please contact me, ok?

The choppers will be open until noon Friday, and I'll announce the winners shortly afterward.

Book ShadowDanceKristen Callihan's Shadowdance comes out on 17 December 2013 in the US. This is the fourth book in her Darkest London series.

Here's the back cover copy, should you be curious. I'm very upset that it doesn't explain the waxed sheen of that man titty right there. Talk about gleaming. No shadows of stubble there, no, sir. AND YES, shirt OPEN but still TUCKED IN exists in Steampunk London. I'm so relieved!

Life has been anything but kind to Mary Chase. But the Society for the Suppression of Supernaturals has given her purpose. Now she's been tasked with catching a vicious murderer dubbed the Bishop of Charing Cross. But someone is already on the case-and the last thing he relishes is a partner.

Jack Talent has been alone with his demons for many years. He never expected to have the willful Mary Chase assist him on the Bishop case. Their age-old rivalry reaches new heights-even as their desire for one another reaches a fever pitch. Though he aches to bring her close, Jack's dark secrets are a chasm between them. With dangerous enemies closing in, Jack must find the strength to face the past . . . or risk losing Mary forever.

I have one bound paper ARC to give away, open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Details in Ye Olde Raffle Coptere.

Book Law Man

Kristen Ashley's Law Man is coming out in paperback on 17 December 2013. It was released digitally in 2012. This is the third book in Ashley's Dream Man series.

Here's the cover copy:

Four years ago, Mitch Lawson moved across the breezeway from Mara Hanover and she fell in love with the tall, good-looking police detective who had an uncanny ability to dress well even though he’s single. It was not a stalker kind of love; she knows she has no hope since Mitch is way out of her league. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s her dream man.

Then one day Mara’s faucet won’t turn off and she knows nothing about plumbing. Being a good guy, Mitch offers to help then he invites himself over for pizza. Mara gives it a go but finds herself running away from him (literally) on their first date, standing him up their second and then she runs into him (again literally) on her way to save her ne’er do well, criminal cousin’s kids who’d just run away from their ne’er do well, criminal Dad.

Suddenly, Mara finds she has on her hands the guardianship of two kids and a gorgeous police detective who’s willing to do anything to help out… including giving fabulous foot rubs.

But Mara knows who she is and where she came from and she knows Detective Mitch Lawson is better than her. Hot law man Mitch disagrees and his challenge is to convince Mara to let go of her past and he sets about building a family at the same time he finds he also needs to protect them all against known and unknown adversaries that would tear them apart.

This here is a Rafflecopter giveaway!

Book Nothing SweeterNothing Sweeter by Laura Drake is coming out 28 January 2014. This is the second book in Drake's Sweet on a Cowboy series. Here's the description:

Aubrey Madison is starting over. Leaving Los Angeles and everything behind except the scars of her ruined past, Bree sets out for cowboy country. Now she has a new home, a new job-and a new worry: the ruggedly sexy rancher who makes her long for things she shouldn't . . .

Rough and tumble cattleman Max Jameson has broken wild stallions and faced angry bulls. Yet the redheaded city cupcake who turned up at the High Heather Ranch might be his undoing. Bree has a plan to rescue the ranch from foreclosure that's just crazy enough to work. But will Max gamble his future on a beautiful stranger?

I also found this description, which has a bit more detail:

Aubrey Madison is guilty. But not of the crime she's been pardoned for. Eight months later, reveling in freedom and determined to put shame behind her and start over, Aubrey hits the road with a new last name, a hideous scar on her neck, and a bad case of claustrophobia.

Max Jameson has big problems. His father has died and his half-brother, Wyatt, has returned to the family cattle ranch outside Steamboat Springs, CO. An old-fashioned cowboy, Max wants only to remain a rancher, but the High Heather is failing fast and the brothers have no idea how to fix things.

When Aubrey shows up wanting a job, Max is thrown for a loop. The secretive ranch hand has him curious in more ways than one. As they work together to save the ranch, Max and Aubrey are falling in love, until her past threatens their future.
