Friday Videos are Extra Doggy on Friday

Because I know some of you didn't like today's weird rap video, and because I spent a lot of this week going to the vet to try to help Oliver, the elder stateman cat in my house live a few more years (he's 16) AND because this totally made me sniffly (and I should share the fun, right), here is a second Friday Video. This is 'How to Treat an Old Dog.'

From the description:

This man clearly loves his old dog very much. I hope it brings a smile to your day as it did mine!
In regards to the writing on the box:
“パオ号 16才 It is Japanese. パオ号is the name of this [dog].
and 16才 is the dog`s age.

“Pao, 16 years old”. The owner's surname Ootsuki were also written.

But wait, there's more – funny dogs!

From the same channel, meet Pablo the Pug Food Critic:

And lest you be worried about Pablo's attempt to enjoy chocolate ice cream treats:

NOTE: Do NOT feed your pet strange foods as some types can be toxic for dogs. Pablo is a trained professional and has a cast iron stomach. He could eat Chuck norris.

And no, he does not eat chocolate. He is above that.
(Seriously though, I know about the chocolate thing. He licks a wrapper, he's not at risk)

I hope your weekend is filled with all your favorite furry and not-as-furry friends!

Sniff, sniffle, sniff. You know, I use to own a malamute that was a supersized version of the doggie in a wheelie bin. I hate you. Oh, and she used to pick tomatoes off the bush just as they reached that perfect stage of ripeness and play catch with them, so doggie with an orange? I hate you more.

Up side? The bros have a new puppy so I can go to their house tomorrow to unload all my doggie angst with her sweet little self. Who am I kidding? She puts the terror in terrier.

I just lost my 12 year old yellow lab, Alana, about a month ago—and it was only a few years after I lost my 16 year old German Shepherd mix, Laika. I’m holding you responsible for all my tears tonight.

    (not really)

    (and, thank you)

  3. My 15 year old dachshund Yofi would give that video two paws up, but she’s busy snoozing next to my desk.

I know someday it’s going to be very quiet in my office, with no soft snoring next to me, but for now I enjoy our (very slow) walkies and the smelly, snuffly little bundle who keeps my company as I write.

    Thank you for sharing.

  4. SB Sarah says:

@azteclady: I’m so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye to pets is so hard. many hugs.
