This is the first book in Macy Mackett's Sultry series, and other books in the series have been on sale this year, too. It has a 4.00 average on GR, and readers who liked it enjoyed the humor and the dialogue, plus the small town setting (complete with nosy friends, cute names etc.).

I have been salivating (really, awful drooley mess here) for the new Pamela Clare, but that teaser copy is making me nervous. This is an author who has no problem cutting off body parts after all.
