This book has a 4.12 star average on Goodreads, and Showalter's fans call this series entirely addictive. (I wonder if books that are addictive should have a little warning on them. Beyond Shame is erotic dystopian romance with a side order of dark intensity. This is a book I keep tempting myself to read, even though none of those things are my catnip, merely because so many people whose opinions I respect have raved about it. It's .99c right now, so if any of those are your catnip, grab it before the price goes back up!

Omega is the Kindle Daily Deal at .99c. This is book three in the penton Legacy vampire series. RT gave this book 4.5 stars, and named it a “Top Pick.” The book also has 4.22 average on Goodreads, but I confess to being skeptical since Amazon owns Goodreads now, and they also published this book. Have you read it?

I’m a big fan of the Penton Legacy Series! It’s a great PNR that focuses on an interesting enclave of vampires in Penton, AL. Great characters and romance. My favorite book is #2 in the trilogy – Absolution – but all three books are good.
