It’s DABWAHA Voting Time!

The DABWAHAAt 1am Eastern, midnight Central, the voting began! Are you ready?!

Round one is a big one, too, with Cecilia Grant's A Lady Awakened facing Courtney Milan's The Duchess War, and The Fault in our Stars by John Green going up against Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. And Unspoken and A Notorious Countess Confesses and… I have to go lie down now. Oy.

Then, at 1pm Eastern, noon Central, the next set of polls go up! More voting! More Tweeting! MORE MAYHEM! Just the way we like it.

On 22 March, another set of polls will go up at midnight Central and noon Central. It's two straight days of mania. Then MORE as round 2 begins!

I may need another nap.

Have you seen the bribes and videos offered in support of various books? Susanna Kearsley and her posse of teens are making videos, and she's not even in the tournament this year (which is our fault, picking a book of hers that was reissue. Ooops). Many available teenagers and six year olds were involved in the productions of many of the videos, which is awesome.

Remember, there are prizes for every round, so check your brackets and try to convince your friends to help you out. And perhaps it's time to see how many places near you really do have free WiFi. Each time you sign on from a new IP, you get to vote again (unless someone's already voted from that IP). Mayhem and mania, it is ON.

Good luck everyone!

Now, which book do you think we should we vote for?

I’ve got DABWAHA questions- How do you guys choose the books? And how do you assign the bracket pairings since there aren’t rankings, as for basketball teams?

  2. Emma Barron says:

Voted! And, as expected, I’m on track to get every single match-up wrong. Every one! It’s an amazing talent…

  3. Elizabeth Houston says:

That worst bracket prize is looking pretty good though. Fingers crossed you don’t get any right 😉

  4. Emma Barron says:

Ha! Thanks…I guess? 🙂 Yeah, I commented on an earlier post that I’m glad there is a worst bracket prize. I’m so comically bad at these things that a prize for sucking the most is the only thing that makes it fun for me.

Almost missed voting, living on the west coast I was sleeping while most of the voting was happening. Made it by the skin of my teeth and I can’t believe I voted for all the leaders!  Last year I didn’t pick so well.

The pairings in the first round are brutal!

Voting for the first time this year – this is sooo fun.  Love the authors lobbying for votes!

    Testing testing 123

  8. This was a lot of fun. 🙂  I loved making the crazy videos with my daughter.  We might not be able to stop!  Thanks again for the chance to participate!  Thanks to DA and SBTB for choosing The Chocolate Thief and to the readers who nominated Turning Up the Heat.  And voted so enthusiastically!  It was a lot of fun and a good chance to “meet” and joke around with some other authors as well as readers.
