I searched all the sites I could find.. I was cleaning my book shelf and saw my old books..Read all of them ..So I missed these two books..were among the first books I read.
My sister gave it her friend and it got misplaced…frustrating !!! They were mills and boon but were thicker almost double the no of pages.. hardbound. I can't remember the author or title. Only that it was a mills and boon , again hardbound and thicker double the no of pages. I remember the plot very well.
The hero is an eccentric scientist.The story begins as the heroine has gained her memory. She doesn't remember anything about the past some months, during which she had got married to the hero, which ofcourse infuriates him. She is from a wealthy family, her grandfather running the business, no parents. She had been engaged to another young man who is her granfather's business partner before she lost her memory.
When the hero brings her back to her home, her grandmother manoeuvres her into giving her marriage a shot before dissolving it by going and staying with the hero. They fall in love agin, then the young man to whom she was engaged before makes her leave the hero by blackmailing her that he'll make the affair of her grandfather public. To keep her grandmother from knowing this dirty secret she has to come back, but she comes to know that grandmother already knows everything. And she goes back to the hero and regains her memory as well. It's been around 10 years since I read these books…Want to add them to my collection.

Well, he was probably a notorious rake and it offended his rakish pride! I think asshat hero covers it well 🙂

Yes ..he’s infuriated that she doesn’t remember him…Not their marriage specifically…she doesn’t remember anything that happened in the past some months..
(PS Yes the hero would be infuriated..It would hurt his ego, won’t it as to how could she forget him , afterall he is so charming, handsome, etc, etc,..)
