“Fire sale” reminds me of Arrested Development – the episode where both Tobias and Lindsey audition for a commerical. “Oh my God, it’s a fire………sale.”

    wow amazing

    questions about Any Given Christmas:

    1) Does the adorable kitty actually have a role in the book?  It is kind of selling the book for me as I’m a cat person more so than dogs and dogs seem to reign as cover fodder.
    2) It seems like it is part of a series.  What order does this story fall? I’m rather a stickler for reading series in order.  (Yeah, I’ll google the order thing but was being a bit lazy here.)

  4. SB Sarah says:

I do not know the significance of the cat, alas. But “Any Given Christmas” is book 2 in the series.

  5. KarenF says:

    1.  The adorable kitten does play a role, but (trying to avoid a spoiler here), if you have an elderly cat who you really love, this might not be the book for you.
    2.  It’s book 2 in the series, and while I enjoyed the series as a whole, but this is the weakest link of the three.  The hero is great, but the heroine gets kind of wearing after a while.  I’d suggest reading the first book first, because it’s really the best of the three, and then deciding if you want to read the other two.

  6. Hate my picture, but checking to see if I can post okay

  7. I could have just tweeted you but alas here I am, do you know if the Kindle Fire ships to Canaduh? I know the nook doesn’t…bah

  8. ksattler says:

Thank you for the info. My kitties are middle aged, but understanding what you’re implying does make it less attractive of a story.  I’ll consider book 1 though and see how it goes. 🙂

  9. ksattler says:

    Thanks! That’s helpful
