  1. Shana McDanold says:

Definitely Nookie. Especially given the number of romance novels I’d read on it. 🙂 Love the double-entendres.

  2. Terrie says:

    Snookie.

  3. Keslynn says:

I’d love it and hug it and call it George.

  4. D. R. says:

I’d end up nick naming mine Granny; because it’s similar sounding to cranny (nook and crannies) and because my grandmother was a librarian and as such, encouraged me to read from a young age. She took me to the library every weekend. I love books, and that’s partly because of her.

  5. Schnook. His cousin, Schmuck, works for Amazon.

  6. My kindle was The Hornbook, my ipad is Dean Pelton, and my iphone is Professor Professorson, so clearly the Nook would be Senor Chang.

  7. Taryn Clegg says:

He already has a name… Vladamir

  8. Fran S. says:

Aloysius, definitely.  I’ve been in love with that name for years now, and there is no way I would punish a child with that name (as great as it is).  Also, I already named my laptop Thaddeus.

  9. mroisman says:

    Lord of the Word

  10. Diane McConnell says:

    My Pretty

Angus—so I could claim I was spending time with a Scot.

  13. snowflakesmn says:

I would name it lux, since I’ dorky & like latin and lux means light.

  14. Amy Smith says:

I shall call him Chap and he shall be mine. lol.  Chap for all the chapters of books he has in him. 🙂

  15. Katrina T. says:

    Cookie.

  16. Micaelalsu says:

The Doctor ~ Good for what ails you and travels through time and space 🙂  That or Dirk, since my first computer was named Dirk (don’t judge me, the computer actually worked better once I named him).

  17. hanne says:

My current one is creatively called “Hanne’s second Kindle”. If I won the Nook, I’d call it “Hanne’s third Kindle” just to be contrary.

  18. Aarann says:

    Nook Cage.

  19. Lauren says:

    Touch-a Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me

Hester. I just want to give that name to something right now!

My Favorite Book Ever! Always true…

  22. LisaLisa says:

    I would name it Alphonso

  23. Arielle says:

I would name it Chairman Meow.

  24. Lms Dragonmist says:

I would call it George … or maybe Jacob … Nanook of the North?  These are very tough decisions … it would have to be determined once I met him!

  25. Daisy de Bruin says:

I’m thinking Jack, as in Jack Sparrow, so I can imagine a sexy pirate is whispering these historical romance stories in my ear 🙂

  26. Maribeth Curry says:

I’d call it Serendipidy since I haven’t won anything for several years now and it would be truly serendipidous to have a reader!

  27. Jikie says:

My inanimate best friend, because that’s what it would be.

  28. Vestusta says:

Well, my hard drive is Alexandria, so maybe this could be the Great Library at Pergamon?

  30. Allison says:

The 1st thing that comes to mind is Spartacus. Don’t ask me why….

  31. Eleine says:

Nook The Second. I’m highly imaginative like that 😀

  32. KEM79 says:

Nookie…because my boyfriend knows he is not getting any when I bring my e-reader to bed with me.

  33. Bea says:

Probably “Scroll of Colors” because, hey, I’ve been a comics geekgirl forever.

  34. nan says:

duck, because when I would read on the couch when I was younger my dad would pass me by and rub my head and call me duck (don’t know why).

  35. Limecello says:

    I’d nickname it Anaxarete 😀

  36. Kathy Sullivan says:

    I shall call it ‘mine’.
