On the sixth night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches gave to me: another Kindle WiFi Paperwhite so when I read in the dark I can see!
Yup, we're still sharing the reader love this Hanukkah! I'm giving away a Wi-Fi Kindle Paperwhite with Special Offers at random to someone in the comments.
All you have to do (no big deal) is tell us what book you're most looking forward to reading, soon, next year, whatever. What's burning up your TBR pile? Because hey, if we're going to recommed books, we're going to recommend 300+ books, right? Right.
Standard disclaimers apply: I'm not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years of age and ready to read pretty much anytime to win. Open to international residents.
You have 24 hours to leave your comment. I've got a few hours to wrap more presents, and then we can all take a break and read, k?
Happy Hanukkah, everyone!
Anna Karenina!
I’m really looking forward to a m/m romance I preordered, out in March. Family Man. Co-written by Marie Sexton (love!) and Heidi Cullinen (love!). Something about m/m has been really good for me lately. Even the annoying tropes from the typical romance seem new and less annoying with a couple hunky men!
The rest of the books in Jillian Stone’s Men of Scotland Yard series.
I’m looking forward to Meredith Duran’s next book. It’s out at the end of January and that seems forever away!
I had twins a few months ago. I’m looking forward to reading, period, as the babies are rather demanding of my time! That said, I’ve been working my way through Rachel Gibson’s Chinook series. Looking forward to more of those!
I’m counting the days until the next J D Robb: Calculated in Death. Patricia Briggs’ Frost Burned and What Darkness Brings by C. S. Harris are also on my list.
I can’t wait for the next Kate Daniels book!
Nalini Singh’s – new anthology and her new Psy/Changling novel. I adore them. In the meantime – I’m re-reading “Tangle of Need”.
Happy Hanukkah to you too!
How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo
I keep nominating it for my book club, but I guess I’m just going to have to read it without them.
I want to read The Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan.
Can’t wait for the next JR Ward “Black Dagger Brotherhood” book with Quinn and Blay’s story!
Shadow Woman by Linda Howard coming in January
Gone Country by Lorelei James
Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs
That’s a problem I’m having right now. I have so many books in hand that I want to read so badly I feel like I’m doing the Homer Simpson Indecision Dance. Not to mention all the next-in-series books coming out in 2013. Picking one of many at random: I’m getting more and more excited to read The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker.
Will you keep me in the drawing if it’s not romance? I am waiting for Lev Grossman’s third Magician book.
Feast for Crows… so long have I needed to read thee.
I have the new Jill Shalvis book Rescue My Heart burning a hole in my kindle but can’t find any time to read it! Hopefully next week.
The next Brothers Sinister titles from Courtney Milan. I’m especially looking forward to Oliver’s story because I’m hoping it will show more of his parents’ lives. I loved Serena and Hugo’s story in the Governess Affair and want to know more about them.
I really want to start reading the Beautiful Creatures book series before the movie comes out.
Patricia Brigg’s next book – Frost Burned – I can’t wait!!
Cold Days by Jim Butcher is still top of my ‘Have To Get’ list
Flame of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier
I am looking forward to read Winterblaze by Kristen Callihan
Speaking From Among the Bones, the newest Flavia de Luce book. That character is utterly delightful to me.
Looking forward to read TOLSTOY!
I so loved the Parasol Protectorate books by Gail Carriger – and there won’t be any more books in that seres. *sniffle*. BUT there will be a new series of books – the Finishing School series – featuring Alexia’s daughter, and the first book, _Etiquette and Espionage_, is due in February 2013
I just got “The Violinist’s Thumb” and “The Disappearing Spoon” by Sam Kean that I’m super excited to start. I’m going on a nonfiction kick for a couple weeks.
The new Gabaldon book ~ think it’s due out in the fall.
Also have a bunch of TBR books to catch up on ~ buy 3 when I’m at the book shop, read 2, but then buy more or go to the library, starting the next cycle, so that third one didn’t get read. January and February are going to be dedicated to all those third books 😉
Currently working my way through the Colters’ Legacy books by Maya Banks. Still have not made up my mind if they are super hot or super creepy. I am blaming this on preggo hormones.
One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean. I adore her books and am so excited for a new one next month!
The next psy/changeling book by Nalini Singh (can’t wait to see who it is!) is a definite TBR book
Also, I have Crown of Vengeance by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory waiting for me at home (Hannukah gift from little brother)
New Diana Gabaldon: Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows
To be reads: almost all non-fiction because I keep taking a break for romances/historical fiction
A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. I have been waiting SO LONG for them to publish the last Wheel of Time book. And it finally, FINALLY comes out in January.
I am looking forward to An Isolated Range by Andrew Grey!
Right now, I’m impatiently waiting to read Courtney Milan’s latest, as soon as my sister finishes it and can lend it to me!
Duchess Wars is sitting on my iPad just waiting for 6 hours of air travel I’m doing on Saturday. Waiting. Waiting. Calling my name. But if I start it, I’ll finish it, and I need to do actual things between now and then, like finish my Christmas Knitting and pack my suitcase.
Looking forward to Shades of Grey by Maya Banks and the new JR Ward Black Dagger Brotherhood book.
I am working my way through my TBR pile toward Jum Butcher’s Cold Days, Jessica Andersen’s Spellfire, and Alison Pang’s Trace of Moonlight.
I’m looking forward to the next Kowalski and the next KGI novel!
