Friendly Reminder! Sizzling Book Club Chat is Wednesday 19 December!

Sorcery and Cecelia - ebook cover (a pot of ink and quill on a parchment background)

Friendly nagging reminder time! The Sizzling Book Club Chat will be on Wednesday 19 December at 9:00pm ET. The authors will be joining us at 10pm ET for a Q&A – which should be a LOT of fun.

I'll be there, with wine and merriment, and given how many of you loved this book, I am betting the chat will be plenty lively. Start your holiday festivities a little early and join us!

  3. newbie question: where does the book club chat happen? here on your blog? on twitter?
I’m pretty sure I’ve worked out what time it will be here in Sydney when it’s 9pm CT…

  4. SB Sarah says:

Hi Deborah! You’re correct – it’s here on the site. There will be a live window at 9pm ET – eastern/New York time – that starts rolling with our conversation. I *think* at 9pm in New York, that’s 1pm in Sydney. Hope you can join us!

  5. ekushner says:

I’m confused – and since I’m Tweeting this like crazy, I’d better get it straight:  Are the authors joining the conversation at 10 pm NYC time, or will they be on from the beginning, at 9pm?

  6. SB Sarah says:

The authors are joining the group at 10pm ET. The chat for readers begins at 9pm ET.

Got it – thanks!  Caroline’s an old, dear friend – in fact, I am the “Ellen” who invented The Letter Game with her in college!  I am delighted to announce that we’ve finally, after so many years, done a Letter Story of our own:  “The Vital Importance of the Superficial” by Ellen Kushner and Caroline Stevermer will appear in March from Tor Books in QUEEN VICTORIA’S BOOK OF SPELLS (ed. Datlow & Windling).  Have fun tonight!

  8. SB Sarah says:

That is SO COOL! Congratulations! And thanks for the game that brought us this book!
