Catherine Called Birdy! I read that when I was in middle school (its YA). I remember really liking it. It takes place in the Middle Ages and she does a bunch of funny stuff to avoid getting hitched to a bunch of awful potential husbands, if I remember right? I do wonder how it ended up on a bestseller list some 15 years later, but anyways it is a good book!
The e-book was on sale briefly.
I loved “Thief of Shadows,” it was awesome for a male protagonist to be cooler than the female, for once.
I loved that book, too! I thought it was the best of the series! I’m not so sure about the next in the series, though.
