And Avon has some erotic romance titles on sale, too
I have read the Shirley Damsgaard series. I really liked them.
I wish the MacKades were a bundle. If I buy all four of them, in two or three months when I finally get a chance to read them, there’s no way I’ll remember which order they go in.
I love bundles, and that’s why.
That’s a great price for Bear Meets Girl, especially since it’s a pretty new release. If anyone was on the fence about it, they should go for it.
I have to confess that I’m one of the few who hasn’t read any Nora Roberts books (but I have read some of the Robb titles). I’m tempted to take the plunge with these—altho I agree with the poster above that a bundle would be optimal.
I really want to buy Bear Meets Girl, but since I am outside the US the price is still 11 dollar. *moops* But maybe I can find a good Kobo coupon…
I’ve read the whole Damsgaard series. It is a wonderful paranormal mystery series. Abby and Ophelia are fun characters. there isn’t a lot of romance. She is a good storyteller.
Half the bundles I’ve purchased don’t even have the books in the right order & 99% of the time prefer individual books, but with ebooks there’s little reason publishers can’t offer both options.
For series order a good place to go is…

Liked the Damsgaard series (hoping there will be more books). Kind of lite paranormal cozys.
Went to B&N and none of the McKades are $2.99. THe Daamsgard series is great- have them all in print.
Mikaela, I share your pain. I’m in the US but (as I have a Nook) Bear Meets Girl is still $9.99 for me. I guess I’ll wait for it to go on sale at BN.
On another topic: Does anyone know why Carla Kelly’s Reforming Lord Ragsdale in ebook (along with Marian’s Christmas List) is only available for Kindle? I tried the publisher’s website but they didn’t list the ebook format, and they wanted to charge $4.25 in shipping when I tried to purchase the ebooks. Needless to say, I’m not paying shipping for an ebook.
Damsgaard’s series is light and fast-paced; there is a smattering of romance but the real relationship is between reluctant psychic Ophelia and her practical witch-grandmother Abby. l had the pleasure of hosting Shirley Damsgaard at a book-signing several years ago; she is lovely and delightful in person.
I’m glad to see another Carla Kelly backlist title making it to ebook. I hope the publishers get the message and release her other titles as ebooks.
None of the Mackade books were on sale when I went to BN either.
The Roberts books (Harlequin) and Laurenston (Kensington) book are non-agency and put on sale by Amazon so the only way you’ll get them that cheap at B&N is to get them to price match (but I don’t know if they do that). Books on Board has price matched the MacKade books (at least the one I checked) so maybe ePub users can grab them there.
I checked out the Damsgaard books (based on all the favorable comments here), and the 4th book, Witch Hunt, is actually $1.99. Good deal.
Your link for Trial by Fire by Jennifer Lynn Barnes actualy goes to a Delinsky book. But thanks for the heads up and I got the right one any way. (Was actualy $1.59 at Amazon) now to wait for a sale on book 3. 8->

At the same time of the sale the price for the MacKade books has risen in my area (Aust). They used to be around $5.99 and I always debated buying but are now $9.99!
B&N still hasn’t lowered their MacKade pricing, but it appears that Harlequin has actually lowered the price on these (temporarily?) so there’s no reason B&N shouldn’t have the lower price. Harlequin themselves now have the lowered price on their site.
@Tam B., ouch on that pricing. I see they have a RRP of $14.99 on Mills & Boon Au’s site, “their price” $11.99. Completely crazy.
I purchased Lord Ragsdale from the publisher. Since they did not have a download link I contacted the customer service. They sent me the book as PDF attachment. I did not enquire after other formats. The shipping fee was automatically refunded, without me saying anything about it.
I like the Shirley Damsgaard “cozy” series—light and fun and nicely written. Nice to curl up with on a rainy evening, or in a vacation cabin.
As of 10pm 5/15, the MacKade books are at 2.99 on B&N – @Shannon Stacey, if you go to the last page and flip back a few, they list all 4 in order – helpful for those of us with sketchy memories.
Perfect! That’s good to know, thanks, and I’m off to buy!
