Boner Donor Bingo at RT: The Prizes Will be Awesome

Get Swabbed!Friendly reminder for those attending Romantic Times next week!

The Boner Donor Bingo Game is Saturday April 14 at 2:30 pm local time. It's right after the Giant Bookfair, which is from 11:00 – 2:00pm. So if you get some books, you can bring them to the bingo game, where there will be mayhem, bawdy jokes, a ton of candy for marking your bingo cards (and maybe eating), and really, really, I'm not even kidding, awesome prizes.

Seriously. So many awesome people have sent me prizes and items to add to big honking gift bags of excellent, and I wanted to share with you some of the prizes that are going to be there for the winning:

  • A Keep Calm and Carry On suitcase
  • A roller suitcase filled with books and gifts and other awesome items
  • A basket of contemporary, paranormal, YA, historical, and romantic suspense romances – including some books that aren't out yet (DUN DUN DUNNNNNN)
  • A gift basket of writer's tools, and The Cutest Thumb Drive Ever filled with ebooks
  • A Coach purse
  • An assortment of handmade jewelry, including brooches, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets

Seriously, the prizes that people sent are amazing, and I want to thank Nancy Berland, Christine Merrill, Kim in Hawaii, Elise Logan, Brynn Thenell, Tina Sicre, Saving Graces Fine Needlearts, Hope Tarr, Jaci Burton, Sarah Morgan, Brigid Kemmerer, Juliana Ross, Jennifer Estep, Vicky Dreiling, Karen McCullough, Liz Flaherty, Debbie Macomber, and the fine and lovely folks at Grand Central, especially Michelle Bidelspach.

So many people have been so very generous, and it'll be you who wins, provided you have O-69 at the right time. There will also be a table set up so if you'd like to get swabbed and join the bone marrow registry, you can take care of the whole (very simple) process right there. Volunteers will be standing by to give you a hand, and a swab.

I hope you'll stop by for a game of bingo, some candy, the chance to win some really amazing prizes, and the opportunity to learn more about bone marrow donation. See you next week!

    Hope it goes well, Sarah!

  3. That sounds like so much fun and it makes me wish I could attend. Fortunately, I’ve already been swabbed and I’ve been in the database going on 5 years. As an African American woman, I thought it was important because it is so hard to get suitable matches for Black and Latino people. 🙂

I keep facilating on whether or not I’m going due to budgetary reasons. You are making it so hard to be good.
