  1. Suzanna says:

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit I LOLed. My twin daughters are super-hero crazy – I can’t wait to show this to them when they get home from school. 🙂

  2. Rebecca says:

The hammer!  He had a hammer in his pants!

  3. What Rebecca said!  The hammer! (“These are not the hammer…”)

  4. JennyB says:

I seriously thought Nathan was going to end up going in there in his underwear.  Yeah, okay, maybe it was just wishful thinking.

  5. CarrieS says:

    squee!

  6. Jim L says:

Speaking as the person who found this video (through the wonderful Topless Robot site http://www.toplessrobot.com ), let me just express the wish that they made Underoos in adult sizes.  Would I use them to “fly” on the bed?  I plead the fifth…

(The music here also reminded me a lot of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.)

  7. CK says:

LMAO! Oh yes, the hammer! My husband heard Fillion’s voice and did the, “What are you watching?” just in time for the hammer.

Husband: “I thought he was going to take off his pants.”
    Me: I know! Bummer, eh?”
Husband: Not so much, but funny.

  8. Karenmc says:

What a splendid way to begin my Friday.

  9. JudyPatooty says:

Hahahahahahaha!!!  That was awesome!  How much do I love Nathan Fillion?!?!  Even more now.

  10. MissB2U says:

Just delightful! A handsome man and some humor – happy Friday indeed.  Thank you!

  11. Kathleen O says:

OMG this was too funny… But I am a little upset at the hammer in the pants….lol

  12. MaddBookish says:

That’s because the hammer is his penis …

  13. MaddBookish says:

When I think Nathan Fillion and superhero my brain automatically pops up with “Captain Tightpants!” I can’t seem to help it.

The video cracked me up. Nathan Fillion is funny.

I hadn’t thought of/seen Tim Daly in ages and just last night there was a movie on with Tyne Daly. Her character’s daughter was played by her actual daughter, Kathryne Dora Brown, whom I had to IMDB ‘cause I knew nothing about.

  14. DreadPirateRachel says:

Yay! That pushed every nerd button I possess. Between this and the Liquid Plumber commercial, I feel more optimistic about today.

  15. Tam B. says:

Could we combine the Liquid Plumber and Daly videos????  I’m picturing Nathan Fillion turning up on my door step (in or out of costume) saying “I’m here to snake your drain”.

  16. Katherine says:

My hubs showed this one to me last night; it makes me squee, swoon, and snort-giggle pretty much all at once 🙂

I have frequent impure thoughts about Mr. Fillion…

  17. Catherine says:

That was excellent. And now I can picture my 6 year old son as a grown-up – with his super-hero costume on.

  18. henofthewoods says:

Nathan Fillion has a video that is the meeting point between this and the liquid plumr ad. “PG Porn: Nailing your wife” is the name. Very funny. And it is PG.

  19. Lenorejago says:

Adorable! What is it about grown men playing superhero? You just know that as kids they did that flying on the bed thing all.the.time!

  20. Question for the audience: was it a ball-peen hammer he had in his pants? That’s why I snickered…

  21. Susan says:

I was going to make a joke about NF’s hammer, but I think everything’s already been covered.

Why have I never heard of these videos?  I really rely on SBTB to further my cultural education.  (Yes, I’m watching Nathan Fillion, Tim Daly, and the Liquid Plumr guys purely for educational purposes.)  Thx.

  22. how did i miss this last week?

this was great, combining Nathan Fillion with my first childhood celeb crush (i watched Wings with my mom when i was 12/13 and it was in repeats, and i just thought that Time Daly was so good looking—I still like watching it when i get the chance.)
