So far the Sony store isn’t carrying The Other Guy’s Bride 🙁  Not sure if that’s permanent.

  2. shawnyj says:

Does anyone else find it unintentionally funny that Devil’s Bride is immediately followed by The Other Guy’s Bride?

  3. To Love a Thief is ADORABLE.

  4. Gina says:

I think it’s an Amazon published book so I doubt they would.

  5. Lisa A says:

I thought that too, but BN is carrying it!

  6. kkw says:

I’m not enjoying Brighter Than the Sun, alas.  I thought it had been long enough that I could enjoy a Quinn again, but it appears to be too soon since the last one.  I know sexual frustration makes people snappish, but her couples are out of control with the irritability, and the bickering, and the never shutting up.  I can’t seem to access the part of my brain that once found this entertaining.  Or possibly this pair is genuinely unlikeable, I can’t even tell.
Victoria Dahl’s Real Men Will was totally satisfactory, although not earth-shattering.  I think the only other thing I have out from the library is something about being abandoned at the altar by that pickle woman, which I fully expect to enjoy.  Oh, and I read something last night by Carol Mortimer that was not awful but I’ve forgotten it almost entirely already.  Let’s see, the heroine was strawberry blonde, and the villainess was an exotic beauty…wards, rakes, scandals…I’m going to let that one slide back into the unconscious.

I finished “As You Desire” yesterday. I started “The Other Guy’s Bride” today. Connie Brockway is wonderful! I will have to read fast because I need time to read C. Milan’s newest book for the book club chat.

  8. I read both Angelfall and Unraveled and enjoyed the hell out of them. Seriously, I can’t believe Angelfall was only $0.99. Right now I’m reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (I’m on a YA kick) and I’m LOVING it.

  9. Donna says:

I’m reading “Revenge at Bella Terra” by Christina Dodd. She’s usually a go to author for me, but this series… Firstly, she’s got her titles screwed up. “Secrets” had more to do with revenge and this one? So far plenty of secrets, but no revenge…. on top of that we have:
The arranged marriage in a contemporary setting.
The hero in deep financial doo-doo, but won’t tell family or the police (financial doo-doo being caused by embezzlement) or ask for help.
Even though all of the above, her father knows all about it. Omniscience is not a quality I would want in a father-in-law.
Abusive childhood/evil mother = trust issues.
    The secret baby.
The age difference issue. Chloe calls his father a letcher when she finds out he was 25 to mom’s 18, and their age difference is even larger. Awkward!
And last, but NEVER least: “Why didn’t you tell me you were a VIRGIN!” She didn’t, but her father sure did. He had her investigated before starting the get the daughter I never knew married off and creating grandbabies for me to dandle on my knee project. A 23yo virgin, Eli scoffs. Impossilbe.
I’m loving Nonna and the winery setting, but I’m afraid if I read much more I’ll hit trope overload.

  10. MissB2U says:

Just finished Lord of Scoundrels.  Loved it.  Next up is To Say Nothing of The Dog then a re-read of Pale Demon by Kim Harrison in anticipation of her next book.  That is unless I get distracted by some other bright, shiny thing on the library shelves…

  11. Sweeney says:

Angelfall is a spectacular book. Loved it so much. I finished it yesterday and I can’t stop thinking about it!

  12. Jennifer says:

Just finished Archangel’s Blade by Nalini Singh – couldn’t put it down.
