When I click on any on any of the BN links, they don’t take me to a nook copy of any of the books. The BN site says there are 0 results.

Wow. I own 5 of the 10 listed – didn’t buy them all last week, but bought them all within the month.  I’m not usually so trendy (but I am cheap and I got them all on sale or with rebates so there’s that).  Right now I’m reading the 2nd Dirk and Steele book by Marjorie Liu and it’s as good as the first.  I bought Tiger Eye when it was the B&N daily special and now I’m hooked (guess they knew that would happen).  Damn.  After finally catching up in the PsyChangling series, I did NOT plan to get involved in another intense paranormal series.

Crap – thanks Delia. I’ll fix that now.

I finally bought Unraveled and used the $2 eBook credit to buy Unlocked, so I’ll be reading those soon. Added A Lady Awakened to my TBR pile too, as well as the new Julie Anne Long one.

Did you ever announce who won copies of Unraveled? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a shiny copy of the paperback.

Finished A Lady Awakened and loved the writing.  Really well done.  I’ll read it again just for the prose.  I’m half way through The Traitors Daughter and it’s giving me heart failure.  Honestly, I couldn’t stop reading last night then I couldn’t sleep thinking about what might happen.  It’s a barn burner! Also finished The Countess by Courtney Milan and I’m waiting for Unclaimed at the library.  Also in the line up are A Game of Thrones and The Shadow Reader.  Get well soon SB Sarah.

  6. Tina Chaney says:

Shameless, by Anne Stuart.  I’m enjoying it so far.

Prior to that, I’d started the most current book in an urban fantasy series and realized that I haven’t liked the “I’ll just be over here, making plot-driven stupid decisions, even though I’m supposed to be pretty damned smart and hella powerful” heroine in a while and the heroes have thus far been 1)a betraying, sexy, alpha ass, and 2)a betraying, not-quite-as-sexy, beta ass.  I don’t like these people any more, so I don’t want to hang out with them any more, either.  Consequently, that one is going back to the library unfinished.

  7. Karin says:

Right now I’m reading a throwback Signet Regency, “Miss Dornton’s Hero” by Elisabeth Fairchild which I got through paperbackswap.com. It’s quite good actually, a lot of stuff about PTSD. But I’m thrilled to see the Kindle version of “To Love A Thief” is only .99 this month! Definitely going to buy that!

  8. I really enjoyed A Lady Awakened.  Grant’s writing style is delightful and I’m looking forward to her next novel.

  9. Donna says:

Finished “The Black Hawk” by Joanna Bourne yesterday. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. If only they were all this good!

  10. Donna says:

    P.S. Hope you’re feeling better!!!
