I’m so glad that l finally read Devil’s Bride.  Yay for ebook sales.  Incidentally, it’s listed next to Devil’s Kiss by zoe archer on my nook, which always makes me smile when i see it.

You didn’t ask what we’re reading this weekend but i really want to gush, so i’m going to tell you anyways.  I read Innocent in the Sheik’s Harem and really liked it. Someone mentioned it in a thread and i was intrigued.  Not the usual sheik romance. And i reread sea swept by nora roberts and i loved it just as much this time as i did 10 or 12 years ago. Which doesn’t always happen.  Even the outdated stuff still worked for me.  There’s something about that book that really resonates with me emotionally. The next one in the Cheseapeake Bay series is next on my tbr list.

Just bought Angelfall – it’s looks really interesting. I just finished The Thirteenth Tale by Setterfield – excellent, kept me up later than I needed, what with being on-call. I’m now halfway through Estep’s Spider’s Bite, which I am also enjoying a good deal. I believe I heard about it through your site. At any rate, I get a lot of good books off your bestseller posts. Thanks.

I am always curious to hear what you’re reading – feel free to share!

I think I’ve got just about every book on that list.  O.o

You and DA are dangerous to my bank account, Sarah. The prices are low but you know what that means … more books!!

Interesting that To Love A Thief, which was published several years ago, is on bestseller lists now—I’m guessing the 99 cents e-book may be helping. I read it last year and liked it very much (it was a huge improvement on Julie Anne Long’s “The Runaway Duke”), but I was a little irked by how similar her most recent book, “How the Marquess Was Won,” was to TLAT. I know there’s a certain amount of recycling of themes by most successful romance writers, but I figured you had to have a dozen books under your belt first 😛 Still, HTMWW is well worth reading and I recommend it along with most of Long’s work.

  7. MissB2U says:

Just started “Not To Mention The Dog” and I’m sooooo impressed.  Her writing is dense and just chock full o’goodness.  I will take a break tonignt to watch “Downton Abbey” then continue reading until my eyeballs fall out.  I was briefly worried that I might need some sort of 12 step program if I can’t get my reading jones under control, but I can quit any time I want… Totally.  And these lists make it so much easier!

Glad I could help out sales of Devil’s Bride.  I just purchased it for my kindle last week.  I read it years ago but as it’s a “keeper” I figured it was time to re-read it (and you can’t beat 99 cents!).  Fantastic, as always.

  9. Donna says:

Just finished a Louisa Edwards marathon of “Too Hot to Touch” and “Some Like It Hot”. Was planning on moving on to either “A Lady Awakened” from last weeks list or “To love a Thief”, but the GBPL just let me know that “Lothaire” is waiting for me at the drive through. I think it’s going to win.
