I really love this list – so interesting to see how the reviews influence our buying.  I read the Dear Author review of Bride of the Rat God and was one of the many commenters squeeing over Barbara Hambly – so glad that others are discovering her and buying her awesome books (in spite of the uber ugly ebook covers and crazy agency pricing).

I read Eloisa James’ Storming the Castle last night – an e-novella that’s a sequel to one of her fairy tale books.  I loved it – my favorite of all of her fairy tale rewrites so far.

And now I am reading piles and piles of student papers.  Ugh.

Oh wait, there was a cyber Monday sale on Hambly’s books that I missed.  No wonder she’s dominating the list.

When I bought my e-reader I had no idea that the hardest part would be keeping up with all of the sales.  I feel like I need a personal assistant to just manage that for me.

How can anyone pass up a book called “Bride of the Rat God”? Bless you GBPL online reserve!
Currently working my way through the “Seal of My Dreams” anthology. The stories are just the right length for when I wake up way too early. Damn you daylight savings time.

  4. Kelly S. says:

I read A Night to Surrender and Once Upon A Winter’s Eve.  I enjoyed them both.  I LOVED the old spice reference in Surrender – laughed out loud and shared with my hubby who also laughed.

The only negative, why does Tessa consistently have the hero expel his seed on heroine’s belly? I can’t be the only person grossed out by that?
