Hanukkah, Day Four - It’s Nook Time!

Merry Christmas Eve, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Traveling and Eating Day for Everyone! I hope you have time to read today.

The Fourth Day of Hanukkah brings: NOOK! A nook Touch, all for you.

Now, sometimes, I have heard, if you bring your nook into a local Barnes & Noble, coupons magically appear. So, tell me, which coupon would you MOST like to appear (feel free to Get Insane here, because it's not like BN's Coupon Development Team is going to take this seriously) on your nook, and you're entered to win.

Usual disclaimers apply. I'm not being compensated for this giveaway. Your mileage may vary. Wear a helmet. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 and over and wearing a touque to win. My understanding is that the nook does not work outside the US/Canada, so unless you plan to hack it and make it work in your locality, I think this has to be US/Canada only. My apologies.

You've got about 24 hours to enter, so let's get coupon crazy. My coupon choice: “You are eligible for ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE. Go get it.”

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas everyone!

  4. I would want one free book from my top 20 authors…

  5. Fadeaway_213 says:

Unlimited free books at b&n and b&n.com for life with purchase of any godiva chocolate and/or Starbucks coffee!

  6. Qwill says:

A coupon for 50 new books per month for life would work for me! 🙂

  7. One free book. I’m reasonable.

  8. LSUReader says:

Coupon: All Nook books are free for your reading pleasure.

Thanks for another great giveaway. Happy holidays.

  9. Nikitrax says:

Endless supply of green tea lattes!

  10. Sharon Knight says:

My coupon says ‘You have been chosen to receive 1 week on Fantasy Island with the companion of your choice and 3 of your wished granted’

  11. Melissandre says:

Is an unlimited shopping spree coupon too much to ask?

  12. MarieC says:

Ditto of Bungluna’s: buy one HB, get the entire backlist free!  How awesome would that be?!?

  13. Laura D. says:

I’d like “Download a free book of your choice every time you bring your nook when you visit the store.” Yay! Although ALL THE CHOCOLATE would definitely be a winner.

  14. Inez Kelley says:

I’d love the automatic free download of every book in the series(or backlist) after purchase of the first one.

  15. Emilie says:

I’m seconding the Italian soda idea.  Free Italian soda—and I wouldn’t mind free chocolate either.

  16. ms8196 says:

The coupon I would want is half off everything related to the nook (including ebooks) for a day, since there are never coupons for their online products

  17. dharma says:

Download all this semester’s textbooks for free!

  18. KatieM says:

Congratulations!  You have been selected to receive the entire backlists of your three favorite authors for 90% off.  You also qualify to receive free chocolate until the cows come home and pigs fly!

  19. cyclops8 says:

I would love a coupon for all the personal days I want.

  20. Just sigh. says:

A reasonable single free download each month for a year with the option of gifting to a library or person of choice. I’d definitely keep coming back to see what was being offered.

I’d love a Nook. Yep. Even without coupons…

  21. Susan says:

Well, if the sky’s the limit, I might as well go big:  free ebook and magazine subscriptions for a year; free instore coffee for a year; free music downloads for a year; good-looking, nice, attentive sales-guy to be my personal instore concierge for a year; and maid service for my home for a year (I need free time for all that reading, coffee guzzling, hottie ogling, etc.).

I could get even more greedy and creative. . .

  22. Mojostable says:

    Free Downloads

  23. I’d love a “bogo” offer where I buy a book and get Nathan Fillion for FREE!  Seems fair, right?

  24. DivineKittyCat says:

How about a coupon to get any (or all) book(s) I have in paper digitally? I’ve got so many books that are so well-loved they’re falling apart… and I believe the nook would be vastly more portable than my giant bookshelf!

  25. JennyBeth says:

How about a “Free Romance Books for a Year” coupon?  That would be cool!

  26. GHN says:

The coupon I most want – the one I truly crave – is the one that tells me, “Yes, we will sell you these books with pleasure” instead of getting a snippy messabe that more or less tells me to go look for the pirate editions.
    Geographical restrictions suck!

  27. Willaful says:

I can’t think of anything better than what’s already been said. Especially the free download of all the paper books I already own.

  28. Lara says:

75% off all cookbooks and apps for Nook.

  29. Jill Baird says:

I would also like a “buy one book by Author X and receive his/her entire backlist for free. No limit” coupon from B&N. That would be my own Christmas miracle!

  30. DivineKittyCat says:

Oh, and how about a coupon to get the next Nook each time they come out with a new one? That would be totally awesome!

  31. Kristal says:

Hmm, how about $1000 worth of free books – digital or print!

  32. poster1 says:

Coupon: Free ebooks of all the hardcopy books from my childhood that my parents gave away after I went to university.  That would be truly magical!

And donation of hard copies of said books to the children’s wing of any hospital.  I spent a grand total of one night in hospital when I was 11 & I remember how happy and grateful I was for the small collection of books that they had.

  33. Erin L. says:

Pick 15 authors and recieve thier entire collection for $1.00.

  34. Erin2 says:

A coupon for someone to come clean my house (I hate scrubbing toilets!) and wash and put away all of the laundry. For infinity x3.

  37. Rebe says:

A coupon for those lovely leather bound diaries would be nice, as would one for chocolate. And maybe a truckload of free books.

  38. Brooke says:

Oh geeeeeze – how about a coupon for 1 child-free hours each week to go to a bookstore?  And get a massage at the bookstore.  While Wentworth Miller reads me books.  Dirty, dirty books.  Sigh…

  39. Elise says:

    Free e-books for life coupon!

  40. Heather says:

    50% off your entire purchase…for a year
