50% Rebate at AllRomance Today!

I thought to myself several times this weekend while shopping online (what? crowds? No, thanks.) that it was a shame there weren't more ebook sales on Black Friday or Cyber Monday or whatever else the sale days are called. But then, I forgot that AllRomance (sponsor of the Sizzling Book Club and generally awesome at customer service) is offering a Cyber Monday 50% Rebate sale

That means any title that's incentive-eligible (i.e. not agency) – conveniently marked with this symbol: Crown marking the eligible titles. – is eligible for a 50% rebate. That's Harlequin, Samhain, Kensington, Sourcebooks — anyone but the Big Six. Remember when Fictionwise had all those 50-100% rebate titles and folks had the equivalent of the GNP of Luxembourg in their Fictionwise rebate accounts? It's like that. You gather enough ebook bucks at AllRomance, you go shopping with your balance for quite awhile.

The individual book pages are not marked with the “after rebate” amount. You'll see the rebate total earned in your shopping cart. And it seems that gift credits purchased also yield rebate bucks, so anyone who wants to give a book gift certificate will get something in return.

This is a good opportunity to buy a bunch of stuff to read over the holiday breaks coming up. Seriously, I read three books yesterday, and I'm so relaxed, it's like I smoked a fattie, took a Valium, got a massage, and took a nap, all at the same time.

ETA! There is also a Cyber Monday sale at Kobo, where eligible books are up to 60% off. Eligible, of course, means non-agency but there's plenty of books for the buying there, too.

Also: CYBER MONDAY? CYBER?! When did that become A Thing? Everyone! Get onto the World Wide Web, and surf the information superhighway, which is a series of tubes, and get your click on. YOU'VE GOT MAIL. And this will be the official soundtrack of Cyber Monday:

By comparison, B&N’s Cyber Monday deals exclude pretty much anything ebook. 50% off NYT bestsellers, but not the Nook format. 30% off one item…well, but not digital content, including ebooks. And that 44% off Nook stuff? All of two items, and one you have to actually buy a Nook to get, and it’s a lame-o clear screen film kit. It’s like a sale designed by the Grinch.

Oh, wow, I’ve been waiting for this.  I kept checking all weekend to see if there was some sort of Thanksgiving Day special.  Time to break out my list and go stock up on rebate bucks!

Don’t forget to use your after-you-buy-10-books-you-get-1-free code! It’s at the way bottom of your library and is all too easy to overlook.

I was going to ask you for the FAQ on this but instead my question is…

    How is babby formed?
