Today, at 10am Eastern, I’ll be on the Gayle King Show on the Oprah Network, live (omg) on tv and on Sirius Radio #204 or XM 111.
This is really exciting and nerve wracking and exciting again – except for the part where I’m waiting for an epic pimple to erupt in the remaining hours. 0_o
And also: Wednesday, October 12 at 9pm ET, I’ll be online at Savvy Authors for a live Q&A chat. It’s free, though I think you have to register. All the details are here. Hope you’ll stop by.
AND FINALLY. My first book signing event! Oh, Yom Kippur, you are not good for scheduling book signings. But my first signing event is on Saturday, 15 October at Posman Books in Grand Central Station. RSVP at their Facebook page. And since it’s a Saturday evening? THERE WILL BE WINE. Come drink with me and hang out with the very awesome Stacey Agdern at the awesome Posman’s Books!
As always, I am keeping the calendar as up to date as I can. I hope if I’m nearby you’ll stop to introduce yourself. I would be so pleased to meet you!
Congrats! I know you will do great.
No worries, if you had a pimple, I couldn’t see it anyway since I don’t have cable. You’re probably being funny and charming as I write.
I watched Gayle King this morning…you looked great and did a fabulous job, Sarah!
I set my DVR last night to record and I’m so glad I did. You were my FAVORITE, before Brian Williams and Tracee Ellis Ross. Congratulations on representing Romancelandia and sticking up for us like you always do.
I set the DVR as well and just watched the Gayle King segment. You did great Sarah, considering she was more interested in her opinion of your answers (before you even finished the answer) than she was in anything you were actually saying. Her constant interruptions made my thumb twitch on the delete button. I suspect this will be my one foray onto the OWN channel. But, hopefully, you’ll get some positive buzz from the appearance.
I’ll check you out on Gayle’s show (tape delayed) this morning in Hawaii!
Sarah I’m so excited for you! And so looking forward to next Wednesday. And because I don’t want to miss anything, I think I’ll be taking a half day. For those unfamiliar with the Chicago area, it’s road construction season. Pretty much every major artery between here and Naperville is under construction. Yesterday it took me an hour and twenty to get home from there.
Sarah, you did great! Unless you plan on appearing again, I doubt I’ll be watching OWN ever again. Gayle King is so annoying, and I completely agree with TaraL.
I wish I could go to the book signing on Saturday, but unfortunately that is my brother’s birthday. It would be bad if i missed it.
Chicago has two seasons: winter & construction. I remember those days…don’t miss ‘em. Although I’d love to see you at Anderson’s. Unfortunately, the closest you’re coming to me is Bellvue, but it’s not close enough to be practical.
Waiting for my copy to arrive from Amazon though, and looking forward to it! Husband’s off on a business trip later this week—perfect timing!
I second everything TaraL said. Gayle needs to learn to listen more, talk less. You, on the other hand, were GREAT! Articulate, smart and you never missed a beat.
Congrats Sarah! I don’t get that show here in Oz (or, at least I don’t think I do). I’d love to watch the clip if anyone has a link I could follow.

Oops, I should have previewed that first. It’s not complete. They only posted about a quarter of the interview. I can’t find a whole clip.
Thank you thank you! I was a LOT more calm thinking all of you were watching. The entire interview went by in a WHOOSH so I’m glad you were paying closer attention than I was!
Donna, and others who are coming to Naperville, please do introduce yourselves – I am so looking forward to meeting you!
Thank you so very very much for the compliments!
Thanks for trying, TaraL, but not only is the clip incomplete, it’s also only viewable in the US.
My friend Cindy and I have tickets #2 and 3 for your Naperville Anderson’s Bookstore signing. Can’t wait! 🙂
LOVE me some Anderson’s! While I was there picking up your new book, I had to also pick up a couple of trashy books – Eat, Slay, Love by Jesse Petersen and Hot & Steamy (Tales of Steampunk Romance) edited by Jean Rabe. I shouldn’t go anywhere near a bookstore with a valid credit card, I’m telling ya!
Loved your hoe heels. Plus, they were in the correct nude shade for this season. Go on, girl!
