Hey, Where’s the New Site?

Garden toolsLike a recalcitrant rake unrepentantly holding on to his profligate ways, one of the databases that holds up the Hot Pink Palace of Bitchery with turgid columns of strength is refusing to import peacefully. I have faith that the noble heroine at work will eventually charm his pants off so that he imports with ease, but for now, we have to regroup and attack the rake from a different, unexpected angle. What's that mean for you? Same Bitch Channel, Same Bitch Palace, with Promises of More Awesomeness coming soon! And now, back to your regularly scheduled content, including the weekly Top 10, a new podcast – and a Super Huge O Rama Giveaway on Tuesday that will seriously blow your socks off. At least, I hope so. :) So welcome back. We'll be working on it.

I will admit to a sinking feeling of anxiety that you’re remodeling, because you know when you watch Trading Spaces or something and you secretly like the ‘before’ one better?

    Yeah. Like that.

Is that a hoe in that picture, hooked on the rake? *shakes head* Such unrepentant garden implement porn is unseemly, I say, unseemly!

I can’t believe that I’m going to say this in public, but here goes:

Sarah, if you must “regroup and attack the rake from a different, unexpected angle”, please be gentle and use plenty of lubrication.

My favorite pirate is James Mallory and any book he is in is wonderful (to me).  The author is Johanna Lindsey.  In the first book of the series he is still a pirate although when he gets his own book, he has retired.  The first book in the series is Love Only Once and the plot is about his niece Regina and Lord Nicholas Eden.  Eden and James have a history and are enemies.
