Just finished Wild & Steamy.  All three novellas were fabulous!

  2. Rani says:

Just started on Pink Carnation series. Read Book 1. Have Book 3-7 here but can’t start that as I forgot to borrow book 2. (Curses!!!). So I had to make detours.

Instead finished Wicked Intentions and Notorious Pleasures by Hoyt for Maiden Lane series. I can’t wait to find out about Book 3 which comes out this Nov. Just bought her Prince series on Kindle.

I’m about to currently start Deanna Raybourn’s The Dead Travel Fast.

  3. Chelsea says:

Rani, I too am new to the Pink Carnation books and loving them!

Yesterday I read my very first Sheikh book: To Tame a Sheikh by Olivia Gates. Quite enjoyed it, actually. Now I’m reading A Local Habitation by Seanan McGuire. My reading habits are nothing if not diverse.

  4. Jane says:

Finally ordered Lord of Scoundrels on Amazon. I’ve heard such good reviews, I’m eager to read it.

  5. Carin says:

I bought & read Wild & Steamy and loved it, especially the first two.  I’m also still working my way through Jeaniene Frost’s Cat & Bones books.  I’m taking a break now to read Changing the Game, though.

  6. Betty Fokker says:

I got Wild & Steamy … now I need more steampunk and I am a bit bitter about it. I’m too busy for new obsessions!

  7. cbackson says:

I read Kiss an Angel and felt sooooo mixed about it.  I have a line with regard to how much of an a**hole the hero can be (before, obviously, he is baptized in the fires of LURRRRRRRRRRRVE), and Kiss an Angel crossed it, I think.  I couldn’t ever really forgive him.

  8. Hannah says:

Over the last week I’ve read books 1 and 2 in The Hunger Games series. I’m less than enthusiastic about book 3 but I need to finish it in the next couple of days because it’s borrowed from another Kindle user.  Too bad it’s not a menagerotica, that way Katniss wouldn’t have to choose between Peeta or Gale.
I got Wild and Steamy and look forward to reading it soon. It’s fun to have short stories and novellas that you can read in an evening.

  9. bookstorecat says:

I read The Native Star and The Hidden Goddess by M.K. Hobson and found both to be page-turning fun. I am not normally a sci-fi/fantasy person, and had never read anything that would qualify as steampunk-ish before. They were both quite enjoyable.

  10. EbonyMcKenna says:

Just bought Christina Brooke’s Heiress in Love and Courtney Milan’s Trial by Desire – both in pb. and Courtney Milan’s Unlocked for the kindle/ipad.

and a whole suitcase of category and single titles as prizes and swag from the RWAus11 conference.

  11. @Rani- I am LOVING the Maiden Lane series and can’t wait for book 3.
I have read a few duds recently but I really enjoyed A Lady’s Lesson in Scandal by Meredith Duran. It was a little slow to get started but Nell and Simon were two great characters who worked so well together.
Next up is Confessions of an Improper Bride and The Many Sins of Lord Cameron

  12. debbie says:

I read “The Many SIns of Lord Cameron” and absolutely LOVED it! It has been a while that I actually didn’t want a book to end. I adored the way Cameron and AInsley didn’t play games. They just loved and wanted each other from the first time they met. I also loved the character of Daniel. I was very excited when I read he would get his own book. Looking forward to Hart’s book. Jennifer Ashley is a magnificent writer! One of my favorite books (and I have read hundreds of historical romances) is “The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie”. I highly recommend this book!

  13. Donna says:

“Storm’s Heart” book 2 Thea Harrison’s Elder Races & ladies this series ROCKS!!

  14. francescataylor says:

Just read “Sacred Sin” by Virginia Llorca. Kindle for Amazon.  Loved it!!

  15. Amy says:

Hey! Just a quick question / request for the bestseller list—is there any way to link to where each book was mentioned in either DA / SBTB or some other reference to “why” it might have made the list? (e.g. a review, or a link to $0.99 books etc)… I love this list, but i am always wondering as to what has driven others to buy the book so I can then evaluate it for a potential purchase myself… Just an idea from a one of those “long time reader, first time commenter” type person 🙂

  16. Maineacmeg says:

Some Georgette Heyer books on sale for 1.99…I have blown my e-book budget on 24 of them! Happy Birthday, Miss Heyer!

  17. Karin says:

I just discovered Julie Anne Long, and now I am looking for everything she wrote! I started with The Secret to Seduction, which is fantastic, and I just bought a couple of her latest at Borders going-out-of-business sale. I think today is the last day for my local store, all romances 50% off.
