Kissing Comfort With Accidental Dong: A Collector’s Item Giveaway!

You want a copy of your own, right? Sure you do. I mean, not only is there Accidental Dong on the cover, but it’s Jo Freaking Goodman, who many a romance readers adores for her emotional old West historicals.

  1. Shell says:

I’ve only read Marry Me but I would love to try this one!

  2. Shell says:

Jessica E., that’s funny! I didn’t notice. I think we were all more focused on… Uh … Other shaded areas.

  3. Gail says:

I haven’t read a ton of Goodman, but I think my fave of those I have read is If His Kiss Wicked. Which has a soulfully staring at nothing cover rather than the accidental dongness of the new one.

  4. JMaureen says:

I love all things Jo Goodman but my favorite is an old skool Sweet Fire.

  5. Christy says:

I have never read any of her books, this would be a great way to start.  I can’t remember the last historical western I read, not been reading a lot lately …..don’t you love work 😛

  6. Karenmc says:

My first Goodman was The Price of Desire, followed swiftly by If His Kiss is Wicked. I’ve never looked back (although I still have many of the backlist to read). Some of her books are so delicious that I can’t decide on a favorite.

  7. terhi says:

I’ve only read on Goodman: If His Kiss Is Wicked. I’d forgotten all about it, but your post had me googling her backlist and reminded me of how much I liked it. I’d love to get my hands on a copy of the latest book by her – with or without the wang. 😉

  8. Kris says:

I’ve never read a Goodman, to be honest I’ve never read a Western.  Maybe it’s time I branched out a bit?

  9. My favorite westerns are by Lorelei James. I’ve never read any of Goodman’s books, but this cover is making me rethink that! lol

  10. MarieC says:

I love her Compass Club series (Let me be the one, Everything I ever wanted, All I ever needed, Beyond a wicked Kiss). I think I’ve read more of her regency books than her westerns.

  11. Rachel says:

I’ve never read a Goodman book before, but my favorite Western romance so far was Springwater by Linda Lael Miller.  I liked how both the hero and heroine were honorable and didn’t just jump into bed even though they both wanted to, because of the promises they had made to other people.

  12. emptycalories says:

Never Love A Lawman is for sure my fave!  I am so super-glad that Rachel did not listen to the advice in the title.  It is bad advice.

This was the first western romance I have ever read and liked, let alone loved.  I have read a few of Goodman’s British historicals, but forget it.  NLaL is the best ever.  Ever!

  13. ashley says:

I’ve never read any jo goodman but I love western romances, prairie romances, native romances (yeah I know)

  14. Kristal Shepherd says:

Hard to choose!  I’ll say The Price of Desire.  I read the excerpt for Kissing Comfort a few weeks ago and I can hardly wait for it to come out.

  15. FD says:

Never Love A Lawman.  Awesomely laconic laid back hero and a sharp and sharp tongued heroine, who can look after herself thank you very much.

  16. Suze in CO says:

“Land of Dreams” by Cheryl St. John has been my favorite for a long time.  I haven’t read any of Goodman’s books, but I’m going to track some down.

  17. Diane/Anonym2857 says:

Amazingly enough, I have yet to read Ms. Goodman. Not sure how I’ve missed her…

  18. Karin says:

I forgot about Linda Lael Miller! Yup, I’ve read all her Western historicals, and many of the contemporary ones too.

  19. Emily says:

If His Kiss Is Wicked without a doubt although Never Love A Lawman… whew! I have KC on preorder but I just saw Goodman has another book coming out Dec 6 called A Place Called Home. Two Goodman books in one year? I’m in Heaven!

  20. Artemis says:

I haven’t had the pleasure yet of reading one of Ms. Goodman’s books.  Actually, I haven’t read too many westerns either.  I really did enjoy Sarah McCarty’s CAINE’S RECKONING though.  Hmm, need to get back to that series.

  21. Betty Fokker says:

Who among us doesn’t want more subliminal dick in her life? Throw my name in the hat.

  22. Shiny says:

I’ve never read a Goodman, and I can’t think of any historical westerns off the top of my head, but I love Nora Robert’s Montana Sky, does that count?

  23. StarOpal says:

I haven’t read Jo Goodman before, but I would really like to remedy that 🙂

I haven’t read many Westerns, but from what I have The Outsider by Penelope Williamson is probably my favorite.

  24. Donna says:

I think this is a twofer accidental dong cover. Sure, nice ab lighting opps, but my eyes initially went straight to the belt. Or more to the point, the excess belt. And while I’m sure I’ve read something at some time by Jo Goodman, nothing’s popping. And I, too, have a partiality to the old Elizabeth Lowells & for some reason an old Karen Keast called “China Star”.

  25. Cybercliper says:

After discovering Goodman I glommed her backlist.  My favs are NEVER LOVE A LAWMAN and ONLY IN MY ARMS.

  26. Jodi says:

I must have this book. I’ve never read this author, but I do love Susan Elizabeth Phillips…and I know one of her football players wore a cowboy hat all the time. Was it “Heaven,Texas?” I think it was. So there. Now I’m IN!!! Woo hoo!

  27. Dana S says:

I kinda love that cover. 🙂 Goodman’s one of my favorite authors and I love her books, but if I had to choose, I’d say If His Kiss Is Wicked is my current favorite.

  28. ClaudiaGC says:

All these naughty covers these days… 😉
If His Kiss is Wicked is one of my all time favourites! Thanks for the giveaway!

  29. darlynne says:

I’ve not read Jo Goodman, but I am tickled as whatever tickled gets to know I recognized Welsh language. Westerns with romantic elements that I have read (that I can actually remember) are Kage Baker’s Mendoza in Hollywood and M. K. Hobson’s Native Star.

  30. Katie D. says:

This is a *hard* question, but I’ll go with “If His Kiss Is Wicked” because I really love that he’s basically a private investigator.

Captcha – “looking36” Um, I’ve got a few more years before that’s supposed to happen!!

  31. Frauke Diegner says:

Here is another Elizabeth Lowell Fan!

  32. Phyllis says:

I go back and forth between “Never Love a Lawman” and “If His Kiss is Wicked” (which is a regency and whose title has nothing to do with the excellent book). Though I went back and read her compass series and liked a couple of those (which ones? I’d have to go check my keeper shelf…)

And oh I WANT this book. Pleeeeeeeease?

  33. Janet says:

I’m new to Westerns – but this one looks very enticing.

  34. Ana says:

I haven’t read Goodman, but I love to giggle.

  35. Lori says:

Westerns are one of my favorite genres and my favorite Goodman was Never Love A Lawman, so I’d love to have this one (bonus material and all).

  36. Kathleen says:

I could sure be comfortable kissing this guys abs…. I would love to read one of Jo Goodman’s books. It would be my first and what a way to start…

  37. I haven’t read any Jo Goodman but with a write-up like that I have added her to my TBR.  My current favorite western is probably “Nobody’s Darling” by Teresa Medeiros. It’s a well done book but I have to admit that I love it, in part, because the epilogue really amuses me.

  38. AndieG says:

I have not read Ms. Goodman yet, but would love to…accidental dong would just be icing on the cake.  Or not.  But would still love to get a copy!

  39. cheryl c. says:

I enjoyed reading NEVER LOVE A LAWMAN.  I would love to read this new book and get the “bonus features” of the cover!

  40. Todd says:

All I can think is, “is that a flashlight in your pants or are you just glad to see me?”
