This cover was, if I understand the email correctly, hand-drawn by Joyce, who has mad talent. Congratulations, Joyce!

How excellent is that cover? I’d totally read that—and we all will, soon enough. I have heard tell that Lauren Willig sequestered herself in the Chamber of Turniptemptation, and will be gifting us and readers everywhere with Turnip’s missing scene. We should have it next week. So hold on to your pudding until then!

Thank you to everyone who entered, and congratulations to Joyce!

    Totally wonderful cover!

  2. Joyce, that cover is amazing!  Yay, you!  I love the dangling pudding.

I’d say that deserves an additional chapter….

  3. Anony Miss says:

Well done! I had submitted the Dara Joy-esque MS Paint cover as a joke – this one was MUCH more vote worthy! Yay!

I want to read the real book AND this one!

  4. Abby says:

Congratulations, Joyce!  Though really, I think we’ve all won, especially Turnip.

    Can’t wait for next week!

  5. Joyce says:

I’m kinda flailing my arms around in a paroxysm of embarrassed excitement. How do I say thank you for all your kind words and votes? How freaking excited am I to read the “lost” chapter? And how totally thrilled am I to get a comment directly from Lauren Willig?? I was agonizing over whether or not Turnip and Arabella were Turnip-esque and Arabella-ish enough!

I’m slumping behind my monitor so none of my coworkers can see my ridiculous grin. This is kind of an awesome day, you guys.

  6. Lucy says:

Love it! Turnip does deserve a lovely sexy scene. Congrats Joyce!
