  1. In spite of the critical comments I made a few days ago about the formatting, I’m looking forward to settling in with Loretta Chase’s Captives of the Night. I’m already enjoying it so much (two chapters in), I kind of regret saying anything negative about this digital edition. I hope they work out the bugs in the formatting (and cover) and distribute ePub editions to other retail sites so everyone can enjoy it.

  2. Heather says:

The new Singh. Hawke’s story better be good. We’ve been teased about this for years. I’m either going to be very happy or very upset come Tuesday night.

  3. Silver James says:

Jennifer Lyon’s SINFUL MAGIC, the next book in her witch and slayer series comes out tomorrow. I loved the first three books and have been anxiously awaited this one. It arrives just after midnight on my Kindle, and I’m tempted to stay up so I can start reading it! I’ll wait ‘til morning, though, because I’ll be losing enough sleep once I start it.

  4. SB Sarah says:

@heather: I haven’t finished my review yet but I thought Hawke’s story was marvelously done and well worth the purchase. Singh brings it and brings it hard for this book.

  5. Carin says:

Magic Slays!  Magic Slays!  I’m way too excited for Ilona Andrews’ latest book.

And I’m catching up on Singh’s Psy-Changelings.  I’m on the Justice book, so one more and then Kiss of Snow.

Then there’s all the buying I did at ARe this week.  My TBR pile is big and the school year is ending.  *sigh*

  6. Quill2006 says:

Julia Quinn’s Just Like Heaven!  It comes out on Tuesday, and I’m really looking forward to it.

  7. Lindlee says:

I’m really excited to see Christmas Magic on the Mountain on the list. That was one of my RITA noms that I reviewed! (Random question. I always want to spell magic with a “j” instead of a “g”. Does everyone have that one word they always misspell? Or am I just weird?)

I’m counting the hours until Kiss of Snow. I was haunting B&N in the off chance they would put it out early. Lol

wall98: I’ve been climbing the walls for the last 98 hours waiting on KOS

  8. Lyssa says:

MAGIC SLAYS!!!! Ilona Andrews’ new release in the Kate Daniels series. I have already pre-ordered it for my nook. I also have a credit waiting in my audible account for the audio version.

spamword: day87, When you are waiting for a new release every minute seems like day 87 of a year long fast.

  9. Heather says:

@SB Sarah: Whew! I would have read it regardless, but it’s nice to know it should be good!

  10. Dishonor says:

I just wanted to mention that the Before the Witches novella is by Karina Cooper, not Karina Bliss.

  11. coachusa outlet says:

I have never read such a wonderful article and I am coming back tomorrow to continue reading

  12. Theresa I says:

I’m probably in the minority but I hate that new releases come out on a Tuesday.  I have a hard time putting down a good book and just end up reading really late and getting little sleep. So, I’m definitely reading Nalini Singh’s book this week but am saving that for Friday night – so I know I have enough time to read it.  I’ll probably then read the Julia Quinn book on Saturday. Her recent works have been a disappointment but I still autobuy her because of her older works…

  13. kathleen says:

READ DIVERGENT.  It’s pretty damn good.  Young adult.  Similar bleak-future like hunger games.  DO IT.  I read it in one fell swoop.

  14. Carolyn says:

I should have taken the whole week off work!

I’m waiting on Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh, Magic Slays by Ilona Andrews and Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn. I’ve always wanted to find out more about those Smythe girls. 🙂

  15. Chelsea says:

Alas, I am not caught up on any of the series that have new releases! I only just finished the second Kate Daniels book (loving that series) and haven’t even read book two of the Psy-changelings. Got a lot of catching up to do.

  16. Kristyn says:

I can’t wait to get into Just Like Heaven!

  17. Abby says:

I am currently plowing my way through Lauren Willig’s series so I can review The Mischief in the Mistletoe!  I am so glad I signed up for that, because I’m really enjoying these books and I know it would have taken me ages to justify getting them all without the whip of SBTB looming over me!

  18. CK says:

Five stars for Magic Slays. Totally worth staying up to 3am for. Got that early at Walmart and one of the very few authors that actually enticed me back to dead tree books LOL.

Currently reading Kiss of Snow and I have to confess that I’m not loving it. It’s just ok right now. As for the Loretta Chase, I can’t bring myself to even read the blurb with that ridiculous cover. I could have come up with a better cover and I’m a flyweight at Photoshop. (Yes, I am a cover snob 😉

  19. nico says:

My local bookstore was not feeling at all frisky. I had to ask them to check the back room for Stacey Kade’s Queen of the Dead. Which they promptly retrieved and displayed. Now I am happy.

  20. Emily D says:

Today I purchased Just Like Heaven and read it straight through my children’s afternoon naps and finished while the kids were eating dinner ( I know, bad mommy). I loved it.

  21. Cät von J says:

Just finished Lisa Kleypas Sugar Daddy for which I have no words! It is so great I can barely breathe!!
So I´ll start with the next book in this series, Blue Eyed Devil, today and will also order number three, Smooth Talking Stranger, right now…
How is it even possible to write so good?! I´m in love ?
