It sounds amazing, totally beautiful. I do have to admit that I couldn’t help but giggle uncontrollably at the dog in the background. Maybe whoever was back there tossing the ball to it should have shut the door 😛
But in all seriousness, I adore talent like this. And their arrangement of it was lovely.
They sounded incredible but, I have to admit that I spent the whole video watching the door in the background to see what that crazy dog was going to do next.
Wow. I am much more sexist than I realized. This song feels even ickier coming from men. Though, yes, I know that these men are just joking, and I am sure they are both absolutely lovely fellows. And yes, the voices are amazing, and the arrangement is awesome.
But my gag reflex can’t handle the lyrics. I wonder why it seems worse to me coming from men. I think it’s because some part of my brain is screaming “YOU’RE INJECTING YOUR GIRLFRIEND’S VAGINA WITH A PLETHORA OF STDS! STOP IT!” I know it’s not really different if it’s a woman, but maybe it’s more personal. I mean, I’d be pretty pissed if it was my vagina getting the irresponsible death injection.
Love the dog! I was all set to email the link to my husband, and then thought, hmm, maybe better add a disclaimer – no I’m not trying to tell you anything about our marriage – please ignore the icky lyrics, and just watch the funny dog in the background.
@Rachel “But my gag reflex can’t handle the lyrics.”
I know, when you switch genders of the singer, it’s gross, isn’t it? Reminds me of “More Than Words” which was all beautiful harmony with guitar until you realized it was two guys saying, “Look, the only way I’ll REALLY know if you love me is if you bonk me right now.”
I think it’s a gross song even when a girl sings it. But noooo, SB Sarah, that is totally not what “More than words” is about! do not ssatter my beautiful high school crush memories! Nooooo!
Ah … nothing like a Jack Russell Terrier to make a video even better! (So says a JRT owner who appeciates and adores just how “crazy” these guys can be.)
It was years before I realized how sleazy and awful the lyrics were for “More Than Words.” I loved that song in high school and thought the guys were sooooo hot. Then I heard the song again maybe my first year in grad school after much distance, and my reaction was classic! I ran around in a circle with my hands over my ears while yelling, “eeeeewwwwww! Ew, ew, ew, eeeeewwwwww!” Talk about a ruined memory!
These gentlemen can really sing, and they have absolutely hilarious backgrounds. I wonder if they are not part of an university music group, since they obviously have friends who can sing as well. 🙂

Great video! This one is a keeper 🙂

This is awesome! And that dog is cracking me up. Men who play the piano are sexy. (Well, not all of them but you know what I mean.)
They rule! Loved it!
xoxo
In one of their other videos, there’s a guy texting and “driving” while playing MarioKart in a tux. Love that they have goofy backgrounds.

Anyway…
Love it…. the dog in the background just makes the video…
LOVE the dog. The guys are pretty good too.
This made my morning.

Hate the song, love the guys, love the arrangement, love the dog!
Also, on the “Fireflies” cover – love love love the disembodied hand!!! Thanks for the bonus link, SB Sarah!
I thought it was fantastic. Love how they switch hands while playing. Think they’d ever do CeeLo Green? That would be awesome…

Testy test test. Do I get a SQL error now?
Why, oh why, can’t my husband sing like that???

The bit right at the end when they realise they’ve made it through note perfect – awesome 🙂
