Smart Bitches Hanukkah Festival Giveaway: Part Four!

imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!

So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.

All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.

Ahoy! Contest the fourth!

On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!

Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!

Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

  1. Sandy says:

I think I will have to go with the Zoe Archer outfit too! Thanks!

  2. Anne CC. says:

I would wear the guy on Lynsay Sands Hungry for You. Security word: Coming27..wow what stamina he has.

  3. Linda Henderson says:

I think the PC Cast cover outfit is great. Wish I had the body to wear it.

  4. ghn says:

The outfit on the Zoe Archer book – with a good, warm shawl and hat in addition. (It’s coooooold here!)

  5. Tina C. says:

I’ve worn dresses like in Wilson’s Crown of Crystal Flame and I’d happily wear one again.  However, there is snow outside and more falling, so I’m taking Archer’s.

  6. Susan Groppi says:

The Jesse Peterson!  Those are some snappy suits.

  7. Jen B. says:

I love the cover of Patricia Brigg’s Wolfsbane.  But my current clothing addiction is steampunk.  I love the corsets, funky hats, and goggles.  Totally funky!

  8. Tracie says:

The Afterlife cover…because it’s always been my dream to kick ass wearing only tattoos.

  9. Carolyn says:

It’s turned cold here in the south so I’d need more than tattoos. The dress in Crown of Crystal Flame looks the warmest next to Rebel and it’s sooo much prettier.

Besides, I already have Rebel. Guess I should dig it out and try it on for size.  šŸ˜‰

  10. Cate says:

I’d have to go with Crystal Flame (I can seriously rock a studded black leather vest) but only – and this is key – if I can also have the jaguar posing in the background.  Nothing really brings an ensemble together like a jungle cat.

  11. HRuthie says:

The tats from Afterlife definitely – but only in the summer as it’s too clod right now

  12. Erin says:

I would definitely go with the Married with Zombies ensemble.

  13. Amy P. says:

I kinda like Kresley Cole’s cover . . . maybe have one of those hot bodies draped over me?  I could wear him as a blanket?!?!

  14. Maria says:

Crown of Crystal Flame (Tairen Soul)  Im pretty sure I own this dress. Maybe not in blue though.  I think its cream and royal purple. My sister made it for me for an SCA event. And I rocked it hard.

  15. Kristie says:

    would love to win:)

  16. Kristie says:

    Ditto, COCF

  17. Pam says:

I also like the Zoe Archer costumery, but with my figure I’d need the coverage of the dresses on last two C. E. Wilson books.  Unfortunately, after indulging in those favorite holiday foods (see previous contest), I’d look like an extremely imposing refugee from a Ren Faire.

  18. Pam says:

Oops!  Make that C. L. Wilson.  I must have been squinting at the garb so hard that I over-processed the font.  Apologies to the author.

  19. MarieC says:

I would love to where the ensemble from “Afterlight”, especially if I could have the body that the cover has! Otherwise, the tattoos will be SUPER spaced apart….

  20. Samantha L. says:

I really want the hair from Afterlight!

  21. Lobo says:

I’d love to try out the leather pants. Are they really that comfortable and flexible so anyone starring in an urban fantasy can chase the demons etc. in them?

  22. Shivani says:

I’ve always wondered if it’s the same photoshopped guy over and over on the Kresley Cole covers. At least they’re all great to look at while reading!

  23. Sarah McG says:

I want the clothes from Rebel as well. It is cold up here in Canada!

  24. eta_o says:

I like the half-shirt/light top on the P.C. Cast cover, and I completely love the dragon tat on her hip…but I’d probably have to get the pants from the Afterlife cover, because it appears that the blond chick isn’t wearing any…..

  25. kathrynkins says:

The black suit from the cover of Married with Zombies – I need a suit to go on interviews with!

  26. Kelly G says:

I’ve got to go with the Zoe Archer cover outfit too!  as an earlier commenter said; it IS cold up here in Canada šŸ˜€

  27. lmfny says:

ooh, I want the tattoos the woman is wearing on the cover of Afterlight. Does that count? šŸ˜‰ I could use more ink.

  28. Adrienne says:

I’d take the cover of Married with Zombies, as they look fully clothed without voluminous sleeves or leather pants.

  29. Bri says:

I Kinda like the dress in Crown of Crystal Flowers.  So flowy, so soft, so many ways to tease and torture someone.  or i’ll wear any of the men in the most of the covers ;)…

  30. Jennie M. G. says:

I would wear the outfit from Wolfsbane. I love the top. It’s beautiful!

  31. DivineKittyCat says:

I’d have to go with The Mists of Time… mainly because of Stonehenge. If whatever she’s wearing would mean I would get to go there, I’ll take it!

  32. Jo O says:

Not as cold as Canada, but we have snow in the UK so it the outfit from the Rebel cover for me too.

  33. Carin says:

I want the Afterlight outfit – apparently it’s mostly tattoos.  But I also request the body to go with it!  And I know you didn’t ask, but my hero will be wearing the body/tattoo featured on Day of the Dragon.

  34. Nikki Barrett says:

I really like the outfit from P.C. Cast Goddess Legend. Looks really pretty and enchanting

  35. Randi says:

I’m a big fan of the hair and back tattoo on Afterlife. I’m not sure about being shirtless, though. Still, I’ll choose Afterlife.

  36. It’s not one of the covers pictured here, but I want the poet’s blouse and blue vest from the cover of Blood Smoke and Mirrors. The poet’s shirt I can buy. I think I might try to find fabric to make the vest. Once I can get back into my kick-ass jeans, that is.

  37. I’m torn between the Wolfsbane outfit or wearing the dude on the Kresley Cole cover. Both would rock. šŸ˜‰

The code below is firm46, so guess I should be leaning toward Cole’s.

    Rinda

  38. The Duchess says:

I love what she’s wearing on the cover of Wolfsbane, so that would probably be it.

  39. Jody W. says:

I’m freezing this a.m. Set me up with the Rebel outfit. Though this fleece is pretty cozy, too… But I bet she’s wearing fleece under her outerwear. Or maybe a holiday themed sweatsuit…TOTALLY, huh?

  40. Beth L says:

While I love anything P.C. Cast, I would look much better in the figure-flattering dress on C.L. Wilson’s cover of Queen of Song and Souls.  Flabby butterfly arms are a personal nightmare, so this dress suits me perfectly!
