Smart Bitches Hanukkah Festival Giveaway: Part Four!

imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, it’s not getting old yet, the candle lighting and the present opening and the awesome fried foods!

So, let’s bring in more festival merriment to celebrate reading of both digital and paper books with yet another giveaway! I have a collection of urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romance. It’s kinda huge. Huge like a sword that’s twice as long as three heroines, all wearing leather pants with just a hint of muffin top.

All you have to do to win is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). The tallest candle in the menorah is called the “shammash,” and it means “helper.” It lights the other candles, unless you drop it. Then it’s helping you burn yourself. Many bags look like, but most menorahs, or menorot, look different.

Ahoy! Contest the fourth!

On the Fourth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A massive selection of urban fantasy, science fiction and paranormal romance!

Just leave a comment below, and tell me which of the outfits pictured above you’d like to wear (I want the one from the Zoe Archer cover because I am COLD) or which paranormal/urban fantasy clothing item is your fave. Come on, someone loves those leather pants, and The UF Belt (which I’ve now seen on shoes, bags, even headbands. Seriously. Whatever is coming to destroy the earth, we’ll look silly, or good, defending it). Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming soon. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and we are only HALFWAY done with the crazy up in here!

Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

I’m first! it means I probably wont win but yay anyway! 4 am I just woke up to take some ibuprofin. wearing the guy from Demon After Dark would be nice. It’s kind cold here.

  2. Ellowyne says:

The one on Crown of Crystal Flame, er, the one the lady is wearing—think of everything you could store in those sleeves!

  3. Heather F. says:

I love C.L. Wilson’s Tairen Soul series and I think it would really awesome to wear one of Ellie’s outfits or even wear Rain. hehe

  4. Liz W. says:

Oooh. I am That Renfair Chick, so I would LOVE the one on CL Wilson’s Queen of Song and Souls. (I’ve never read the series, but…it looks like a more romance-y David Eddings. DO WANT.)

  5. Andrea says:

I want the clothes from the cover of Rebel, too!! It is way too cold here – highs of -8°C are absolutely not my thing. I like snow only on Christmas, but nooo, we have it now and nobody knows if there will be any on Christmas Eve. And it is basically impossible to get the house really warm. 🙁 So, the only thing that interests me about clothes right now is whether they will keep me warm or not.

  6. Lane says:

I’d wear the clothes on COCF.

    Lane

  7. Bibliophile says:

I’d like the dress from Crown of Crystal Flame, because I have always wanted to own one of these very impractical gowns.

  8. Robin F says:

I have to say the warm outfit on the cover of Rebel, we are experiencing the worst winter weather in Edinburgh in 40 years!

  9. Ninjapenguin says:

While I agree with everyone about wanting some warm clothes because it is too darn cold here (Southern girl transplanted to Germany), my favorite UF/SF/paranormal accessory are the rockin’ boots most of them have.

  10. mikaela says:

I’d like the one that Aralorn is wearing, on the cover of Wolfsbane :).

  11. PoetBelle says:

Oh nice, would like some new books!

  12. Veronica Desangles says:

I too would definitely wear the one on the Zoe Archer cover because it is flippin cold here in Iowa.

  13. E.D. Walker says:

I’m in Cali so I’m not that cold. I’d love to wear one of the dresses from the CL Wilson series. The Crown of Crystal Flame dress is really pretty. 🙂

  14. roobarb says:

wow what a collection, I’d love to be chosen

  15. April Brookshire says:

I agree with the first person who commented.  Nothing can beat wearing the guy from the Demon From The Dark cover.

  16. KCfla says:

I’d love the dress on Queen of Song and Souls, just because it’s not something I’d buy myself in real life- but how cool is it???

  17. Tarja says:

I’d wear the one in the Patricia Briggs cover.

  18. Sally says:

I’d choose the outfit in Married with Zombies, even though it’s mainly a silhouette and I can’t tell what it is. (It looks cool though and that’s all that matters)

  19. Trippinoutmysoul says:

I’d rock the ensemble from The Crowded Shadows. Tunic, belt with numerous scabbards, knee high leather boots, and a cape? I could wear it grocery shopping at the commissary and hopefully freak enough people out to manage to leave with my sanity intact. US military base commissaries are brutal, especially right after pay day.

saying55- I say 55 prayers from the produce aisle to the diary aisle that I’ll make it out alive…

  20. Sayuri_x says:

I’d have to choose the clothes from Rebel. Simply because I am not an exhibisionist. Srsly, I would blind people if I went out in the outfit on Afterlight.

That said I wouldn’t mind watching the guy from Kresley Cole’s cover take the rest of his clothes off. Does that count?

  21. Lisa says:

I’d completely love to wear what’s on the cover on Elle Jasper’s Afterlight – That tattoo, that hair.. Those pants!! God, I want to be her –  all hot and deadly, carrying a big knife 🙂

    Cheers!!

  22. blodeuedd says:

Crown of Crystal Flame hands down, that gown is so pretty and I would love to wear something like that

  23. Kate Lanfear says:

It’ll have to be the clothes from Rebel too for me, my boiler’s broken and London is too blimmin’ cold so it would be slightly a-maze-ballz to have a body temperature of above zero. Or I could wrap myself in the mullets on the CL Wilson books as that would be pretty toasty too…

  24. N says:

I’d say Elle Jasper’s Afterlight, because I’m cooking right now and I could use a good knife. I’d probably put something on top, though, because oil spatters.

  25. Ketutar says:

Huh… My first reaction was “Demon from the dark” too… 😀 Perhaps we are trashy bitches?

I kind of like the leather riding pants from Rebel… so that, except that I’d take the top from Wolfsbane.

  26. OdetteLovegood says:

I want that blue dress that Ellie is wearing. It’s the SCAdian in me.

(And yes I know it’s historically inaccurate, what are you a herald?)

  27. Anna says:

The dress in Crown of Crystal Flame would satisfy a fantasy I had when I was about 7.  So, better late than never.

  28. Tee says:

That outfit for the Queen of Song and Souls should be good, especially if it includes any matching jewelry/tiaras/magical relics etc!

These all look awesome, hope the dredel spin favors me!

  29. AJane says:

Ooooh, I want the dress from the Queen of Song and Souls. I just dig that kind of stuff. That and I could never ever rock the leather pants no matter how much I might want to.

Hey, would the tattoos that keep cropping up count as a clothing item?

  30. Lisa V says:

I’ve always wanted to have a hat like the heroine in Zoe Archer’s Rebel – it reminds me of some really ridiculous geeky role plays that were a part of my misguided (ahem, enlightened, lol) youth!  Mind you…I wouldn’t mind “wearing” some of the men in the covers…

  31. mari says:

Were I a braver person (and not prone to fainting at the feel of pain) I’d acquire the body art from the Afterlife cover.

Actually… does anyone know of a tattoo artist that wouldn’t bust themselves laughing if you ask for a Local Anesthesia…? 😀

  32. Audra Holtwick says:

GIVE ME THE DRESS ON QUEEN OF SONG AND SOULS- i AM JUST NOT MADE FOR LEATHER PANTS- BUT THE BOOTS ROCK!!!!!!

  33. Kaetrin says:

I don’t know about the clothes, but I wouldn’t mind ‘wearing’ the Kresley Cole cover model!! *grin*

  34. flynn says:

i’d go with married with zombies. 3 piece femme-suit with spike heeled boots sounds just about perfect. as zz top says, “every girl’s crazy ‘bout a sharp-dressed (wo)man.”

  35. Erin says:

Any of the leather pants! Love them! I don’t have any because they would not look good on me at all, but I love them anyway.

  36. Malin E says:

I’d like Astrid’s outfit on the cover of Rebel, because I live in Norway, and it’s really cold here now. But Elysetta’s outfit on Crown of Crystal Flame looks very tempting, as well.

  37. I’d take the outfit from WOLFSBANE, because I’d be able to move around in it and wear it without feeling too ridiculous.

    spamword: cold82 …Ya think?!

  38. Lindsey Ekland says:

The nice coat from Zoe Archer’s cover would have been perfect last week when the temperatures dropped to 16 degrees overnight.

  39. aussiegirl says:

The tatts and hair on Afterlight for sure. Not sure about the leather pants though….. its too too hot here now.

  40. Kathy says:

I want to wear that Dragon on my titty from Day of the Dragon.  It would be nice to show off the breasts that have nursed 2 children for way too long.
