imageHanukkah, oh Hanukkah, you’re still delicious, but I’m a little tired of latkes.

But that’s ok: Han Solo is here to help. Thanks to Mama Nice for that awesome graphic. image And you know what never gets old? Free stuff! Today: another book collection, this one courtesy of Simon & Schuster, who have compiled a bunch of December books for your reading pleasure. All you have to do is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). Oy is just Yo backwards. Do not taunt happy fun ball. Not valid where prohibited by law or by that huge guy who stands at the door and decides who is cute enough to get in. That guy sucks sometimes. Do not write below this line. Falling rock. Still Slippery When Wet. No, that doesn’t get old.

  1. Kristan A says:

I would go with Deep Kiss of Winter first – can’t top Kresley Cole AND Gena Showalter – closely followed by the anthology with Jeaniene Frost, who is one of my newest addictions.

I would gift Ecstasy in Darkness and A Hellion in Her Bed because I already own them, read them, loved them, and would like to share.

  2. D.L. says:

My Fair Succubi! Mine! I’d give Sabrina Jeffries book to by best friend… and then make sure she lets me borrow it 😉

  3. PattiR says:

I would read them all as I am always up for a good read. After I read them all I would give away the books that just didn’t click for me, but judging by the list, it won’t be many.  🙂

  4. Quenby says:

Oh, The Year of Living Scandalously would would absolutely be my must-read off of that pile. And to give away… Hmm, that one takes a bit more thinking. 😛

  5. D says:

The cover art for Earl of Darkness pulled me in…I’d read it first

  6. Julie says:

I haven’t read any of these, and it’s been years since I read anything by any of the authors. Recommend one for me to start with?

  7. Hydecat says:

Based entirely on the cover, I’d read Earl of Darkness first and then start passing it around to all of my friends.

  8. JC says:

Oh boy, I would love that grouping.  There’s several books there I’ve been looking forward to reading.

    Until tomorrow,
    Thanks!

  9. Carin says:

I’d start with the Jill Myles Succubi book, then the Gena Showalter.  Then I’d reread the Kresley Cole/Gena Showalter Deep Kiss of Winter.  Only then would I tell my friends I’d won and consider their requests. 🙂

  10. Sue K says:

I’d read the Sabrina Jeffries & give the Kenyon away because I already have it.

  11. Doris says:

I would absolutely read the Sherrilyn Kenyon first.  Or Ecstacy in Darkness by Gena Showalter.

  12. Kimberly R. says:

I’ve been wanting to try Kresley Cole so her book would be the first I would read.

  13. SugarSpice says:

I think it’s more a question of which I’d read first… Sabrina Jeffries – hands down. I love me some hellions in my bed!

  14. donna ann says:

” A Highlander for Christmas” sounds like a wonderful thing to find under the tree on Christmas—oh, and the book too 😉  Not big on paranormals so would most likely give one of those away.

  15. Rory says:

I would like to read the Hawkins book and I would give the Jeffries book to one of my friends as I already have a copy.

  16. Bri says:

I would jump all over the Linda Lael Miller led anthology because I LOVE Christmas based stories as this is my favorite time of the year.  Then I would probably gobble up all the other Christmas based ones and then the others in ramdon order. There are a lot of authors who are on my TBR list. All would then be donated to a good home – either the library (which puts some inti circulation if they need or sells the other to raise funds for the lirary) or to the local Veteran’s Home.

growing89:  my tbr list is quickly growing to 89 titles

  17. Ooh – A Hellion in Her Bed intrigues me. :p

  18. Wylykat says:

Unforgivable would be the first read.

  19. Hannah says:

I’d read One Night in Scotland first because the guy in the cape is awesome.

  20. Linda Henderson says:

They all look like great books, but I would start with Deep Kiss Of Winter.

  21. KamC says:

I’d read either “A Hellion in Her Bed” or “The Year of Living Scandalously” first.  I’ve been wanting to read both those titles.

  22. Jenny C. says:

I’d read “I’ll be Home for Christmas” first – I’m a sucker for those kind of stories.  Then I’d give some to my mom – she would love so many of these!!!

  23. Kristi says:

I wouldn’t give away ANY! I haven’t read ANY of them! I would read Sabrina Jeffries first, then Julia London or Karen Hawkins.  I would DEFINITELY have to read that Gwen Cready (never read her) but that cover looks awesome. Well, it looks awesome at first glance. Now it looks like her leg’s a little crooked but still, awesome try to that cover.

Pick ME oh random generator god!! PLEASE!

  24. Unforgivable since I’ve started that series, but I love me some Christmas stories so those might be first.

  25. Abbie says:

I’d totally nab “My Fair Succubus”. I had no idea there was a new Succubus book out! Next would be either “Blood Trinity” or “A Hellion in Her Bed”

  26. Lauren D says:

I’d start with either Deep Kiss of Winter, because I <3 Kresley Cole or the Sabrina Jeffries one, because that’s the most likely way I’m going to get a hellion in my bed this Christmas.

  27. Flo says:

I’d read the purple one!  Why?  Because purple is awesome… and it’s like… advent for us Catholics!

  28. Valarie P says:

I’ll give my friend the Gena Showalter as she is a big fan of that series, and I will give my mom the Linda Lael Miller.  The first one I would read would be the Jill Myles.

  29. Genevieve says:

    December holiday books. Yes.

  30. Leslie says:

I would read Julia London’s The Year of Living Scandalously and I’d give I’ll Be Home for Christmas to my sister.

  31. Tamara Hogan says:

I’d read “Aching for Always” first—for the great title alone.

  32. Tracie says:

I’d start with A Hellion in her Bed, and give them all to my mom when I was finished.

  33. Lil' Deviant says:

Sooooo many choices.  I would probably choose by color.  Do I feel like a blue sparkly?  Or am I more in the steamy red mood.

  34. Gail M. says:

I would read Julia London’s The Year of Living Scandalously first, and might pass on the Sherrilyn Kenyon.

  35. Ali says:

I would read all the historicals!  But then pass them on to my sisters and cousins at our book exchange we have at every gathering.

  36. I’d read them all, and share the Karen Hawkins one (since I have it already). The first one I’d read, though is Sabrina Jeffries’, or Sherrilyn Kenyon (because, *gasp!* I’ve heard great things but have never read her before).

  37. zvi says:

Since I’m on a big Lost Girl kick, I would read My Fair Succubus first.

  38. Literary Slut says:

I’d start with Deep Kiss of Winter because it’s going to be 80 and sunny today.  I’d like to think there is still winter somewhere, even if it’s not here.  Here we have 9 months of summer and 3 months of late spring. No winter.  I would donate the books after I read them to our local literacy program.

  39. Megan says:

I’ll be Home for Christmas (ironic, huh? 🙂

  40. bug_girl says:

I’d start with Julia London, since our library doesn’t have that book yet 🙁
