  1. Is that 7 pm Pacific?  10 pm Eastern is 9 pm Central….

  2. Karenmc says:

    I’m so excited about this!

  3. Oh, AWESOME, I may actually be able to show up for this. 🙂

  4. SB Sarah says:

    Pacific! Sorry! Gacking time zones.

  5. Sharon says:

Every time I see this title I think of Adolpho from the Drowsy Chaperone (

) “Adolpho, a scroundrel? Adolpho is no a scroundrel!”

I find it hard to take the epithet seriously any more!

I’ve heard so many good things about Zoe Archer, I wanted to give this a try, but I can’t get the discount to work. It shows up on the page, but when I go to buy it, it reverts 5.59. The discount code doesn’t work either. Help!

  7. Pat says:

There was nowhere to add the code for the discount when I bought the book which was really disappointing.  Also, the book isn’t available in unsecured Mobi, so I can’t read it on my Kindle.

All in all this has been a really disappointing experience.

  8. Pickle says:

Just picked this up from the library.  Can’t wait to read it!

  9. Pickle says:

But I have to say the cover would have turned me off if SB hadn’t recommended the book.  He looks too much like Lorenzo Lamas meets Brendan Fraser from the Mummy, but let’s toss in a little Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly.  Now it it were more Malcolm Reynolds, the turn off would be turn on.  Sorry….I digress.  =)

  10. Carly M. says:

I’ve enjoyed this book so, so, so much on my commute to and from work this week. Still only about half way through, but will probably stay up all weekend devouring it. Fantastic pick, Sarah! Also, fyi, the discount on ARe is a rebate so it doesn’t show up in your cart. You gift it to yourself after buying the book.

  11. Teri C says:

What time does that make it for Pacific. My poor math.

Yes! I am soo excited! Thank you ladies.

  12. Maria says:

The discount isn’t so much a discount as it is a rebate that goes into your account on All Romance. Then you can use it buy more books. So, for example, I was able to get this book for free by using the rebates I accumulated from my last two book club reads.

You do have to go into your account and gift the rebates to yourself, or, if you prefer, you can gift them to someone else.

There used to be a hardware store, Scotty’s, that would give you rebates in Scotty’s dollars so you could spend them in the store. My brother and I totally made a potato gun from parts purchased with accumulated Scotty Dollars.

  13. Maria says:

Extra Info: If you click on My Library while logged in, it will tell you your current ebooks balance and show you any unassigned gifts.

  14. Ronda says:

Whew! Thought I’d never find Chat and how to get in here 😀

  15. Ronda says:

uh, is this the right place for the chat 10pm EDT Zoe Archer

  16. Ronda, the chat’s not tonight, it’s on Wednesday the 27th. 🙂

  17. rlitex says:

Is the chat over? Am I the only one here?

  18. rlitex says:

Oh good grief! What a goof I am! Thank you SO much for speaking to me. Was feeling like I was in an empty void LOL

  19. No worries! Looking forward to the chat on Wednesday! 🙂

  20. rlitex says:

Ditto – your response also went to email – good 🙂 Looking forward to it. See you there 🙂

  21. Paige says:

So sad I will miss this as it is exactly the same time as my real world book club. I did buy it (Amazon Kindle $4.47) on your recommendation, loved it, bought the first one (Warrior) and have pre-ordered the next two. (Nov 1 and Dec 1 releases.) Ms. Archer has quite the ear for realistic dialogue.

Spamword:future88- I look forward to it.

  22. This was an excellent follow up to the fabulous first book, Warrior. I was pretty stoked about that, because it gives me confidence about how the rest of the series will turn out! Sometimes an author just cannot live up to how excellent the first book in a series is, and it is such a disappointment to the reader. That’s not the case here!

  23. Chat says:

    thanks for this blog
