Keynotey News

Want to know two words that make my insides go EEEK?! “Keynote Speaker.”

I’m the keynote speaker at the 2011 Book Blogger Convention in NYC on 27 May. I was so flattered to be asked, and I am so totally excited, but wow, the import and intimidation factor of “keynote” and “speaker” is making me crave donuts. So there’s your first indication of what I might talk about: donuts. Or, I just might bring some. I am speaking in the morning, after all.

I hope if you’re interested in attending that you’ll sign up – it’s during BEA so the trip would be worth your while should you be interested in things bookish and wish to attend BEA as well.

And if you have suggestions on what to talk about, lemme hear them. Aside from donuts. I’ve got that covered.

In other links of joy and celebration:

Books on the Knob collects all the free digital books they can find, and their romance selection is pretty freaking spiffy. Thanks to Carin who sent the link.

Remember Mistletoe Madness? You can own a print of it. No, no, don’t thank me. Thanks go to Pam, who is awesome.

Have a fantastical weekend, full of keynote mistletoe!

What? Keynote Speaker? That’s a bit lame and not to interesting for people who have an out-of-the-box thinking style. Book Fairs aren’t catering much of an excitement in today’s world. Internet has largely covered this and is far more able to produce and deliver information at diverse platforms. To be more precise, I am certainly not interested!
