  2. Dayna says:

That was sweet.  I laughed when he was crying in the bathtub and using the toilet paper to wipe his eyes.  🙂

  3. Leah says:

It’s so nice to see a long-distance relationship that worked! If only…

  4. Meggrs says:

Hee! They’re hilarious! “I went to Denmark cause I liked Hamlet?”

    HA!

  5. Suze says:

I especially liked his anti-drowning device in the bathtub.

That whole video just charmed my socks off.

  6. Ah, thank you so much for this little diamond. What a week! A happy ending is exactly what we need.

  7. sugarless says:

Oh man, I was about to send this to my best friend, who had a 2 year long distance relationship with her (now ex) fiancee. I decided against it when it had a happy ending. She’s still a little bitter :-p

Long distance relationships. Just say no. (but really cute video!)

  8. michellekcanada says:

Awesome! If that was a book trailer, I’d buy the book!

  9. quichepup says:

    Congrats, Gemma!

I love the scene where he takes an axe to the modem and then begs its forgiveness and tries to put it back together. Been there.

  10. meardaba says:

Dude, we totally chug maple syrup in the morning.  Canuck tradition.

  11. Jill Myles says:

Aw! This reminds me of when I met my husband. We were long distance for over 3 years. Happily married now for 6 and a half. 🙂

  12. Estara says:

And that’s so professionally made, I want to see the movie now. I wish the both of you good health and am totally in awe of Thomas’ perfect English accent.

  13. Michelle W says:

FUN!! FUN!! FUN!!  Now go out and make the sequel!

  14. rayvyn2k says:

    Been there, done that.

Just celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary with my long distance love. So, it can happen.

Did they end up in Denmark or Canada? I couldn’t tell…(my bad).

  15. Lauren says:

My gent lives in San Jose, CA and I currently live in Baltimore, MD. We work on staff for the same convention and when I met him two years ago he was very much not single but I found him to be very attractive but thought “someone like him and someone like me would never ever happen”. Cut to two years later and we re-met at the staff social meeting in January (he forgot who I was!), talked, and apparently everyone could see the chemistry.
But we live a country apart. So it was only supposed to be a spring fling, and now here we are almost in November and I’ve met his friends and family, we’re still together, and I’m going with him to his high school reunion next month and he was and is the most unexpected, surprising, and wonderful to thing to have happened in my life.

  16. KeriM says:

He lived in PA and I lived in Texas, we were online friends for a year, met a couple of times and he moved to Texas in April of 2002 and we married that June had our baby in Dec. Still going strong today, 7 years. They can work, but it is something you have to be cautious about.

  17. Gemma says:

    Hey Smart bitches!

Thanks so much for all your comments and personal stories of your own! Thomas and I are so flattered. We keep smiling just thinking about them. We really appreciate that you took the time to watch. And thank you Sarah for posting the video!

    Kind regards,

    your fellow bitch
