I’m amazed by how many things you’ve accomplished – and how many think, like I do, that a happy relationship is something to work on and consider a solid accomplishment. I’m so impressed with everything you all said, and will totally go back and read that thread when I’m feeling down. From marriages to grades and GPAs to degrees to health crises to overcoming emotional and physical asshattery to being happy to just plain kicking ass (literally) you are amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Someone emailed me privately and asked what my accomplishment was, and I had to sit and think about that one. I work every day on my marriage and my relationship with Hubby, and getting pregnant was no easy street either, so I am constantly making sure I’m the best parent and partner I can be. But right now, the thing I worked hard on and am amazed and proud of is this here website and the community of readers who visit every day. I remember when Candy and I started it, I didn’t think anyone would really read it, and five years later, holy crapping muskrats, was I wrong. I’m proud and thankful for all of you every day, because I have so many people to talk about romance novels with. And that’s nearly enough navel gazing.
