I just tried to vote in Round 1: Set 2 of 4.
After I clicked “VOTE” for each pair I received the message, “You Have Already Voted For This Poll,” with a different “Poll ID #” for each pair.
What does this mean? Did my votes count or not?

-Majored in English with an almost minor in Women’s Studies (2 credits shy and couldn’t be bothered by senior year.)

Kay: Wow. I’m no expert, I just know that Jane said it identified voters by IP address and cookies. Unless you share an IP address with someone else who voted ahead of you (that happened at my house), it should be a cookie issue.
If you have a smart phone, you might try using that. I know some people who are voting that way.
Kay, I just tweeted Jane and she says that she can try to clear your IP address out of the voting log. You should email her (unless you are on Twitter, in which case you could DM it).

I just emailed Jane asking what an IP address is. Even my husband, the computer science professor doesn’t know. I have learned not to feel stupid when I don’t know things about fields I’m not familiar with. I can still learn new things, and I know how to use the subjunctive mood in Spanish.

Fact – I am too old for that literature set – my formative years track with the emergence of VC Andrews and the revival of Laura Inglas Wilder.
Fact – I dropped out of high school but was totally all about English/Creative Writing and took community college courses in same.
Fact – Did read the Robb book, but completely chose other authors based on that same criteria!!!
Obvious conclusion – that date with the high school quarterback that didn’t go all the way because he was too Xtian really DID go all the way – and I have blocked your birth all these years from trauma and experimental medications provided secretly by my toothless felon of a father!! I am so sorry he sold you to those people!!! (PS, your father grew up icky. I’m sorry for that too, I married a geek instead, you’ll love him!)
