Summer Song Playlist Winner

And now, after the biggest iTunes order ever, it’s time to announce the winner of the summer songs playlist giveaway.

And the winner, selected at random, is StacieH4 , who suggested some awesome songs, particularly “Walk Don’t Run” by The Ventures. Word.

So, StacieH4, email me at sarahATsmartbitchestrashybooksDOTcom to claim your prize. I’ll leave the comments open for folks to keep adding songs to the entry. It’s 23F tonight, so I need me some summer music like damn boy howdy.

    Missed out on this, buuuut…

-The Otherworld (Final Fantasy 10 Soundtrack). So rocking it makes your testosterone rise just listening to the crashing guitar. Yes, even if you’re female.

-What’s Left of the Flag, by Flogging Molly

-All Summer Long, by Kid Rock

-Wheels in the Sky and Separate Ways, by Journey.

-The theme song to Pirates of the Caribbean.

    -Convoy, by CW McCall

-I’m In A Hurry, by Alabama

-Do You Feel Like We Do, by Peter Frampton

    -Little Willy, by Sweet

-Black Water, by the Doobie Brothers

-634-5789, from the Blues Brothers 2000 soundtrack.

-This: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01732/ Download it. It’s a remix of a song from a legend of Zelda game.

Spamword: Same39. No one can accuse me of listening to the same 39 songs. Or artists. Or genres…

Thanks so much!!  I went through the comment thread and ended up with a list of songs I “need” for my iPod—now I can get some of them.  This website rocks!

I was also trying to think of wintery songs and only managed to come up with a couple (that aren’t holiday songs)—California Dreamin’ and Hazy Shade of Winter.  Not nearly as much fun as picking summer songs.

    Thanks again. I am thrilled!
