Blazing Trilogy Giveaway

Book CoverI have a really fun giveaway today, so set fire to your pants, it’s Blaze Trilogy time! This Valentine’s Day, Harlequin put together a trade-sized 3-in-1 of brand new Blaze romances: The Blaze Collection.

It includes three new novels: Her Sexy Valentine by Stephanie Bond, Play with Me by Leslie Kelly, and The Charmer by Kate Hoffmann.

Note: I’ve read Play With Me and liked it a lot – very light and quite hot. So winning a copy along with two other new books? Boo to the Yah with a side of Hells Yeah.

So I’ve got 10 copies to give away. Leave a comment here and tell me your favorite way to indulge yourself. I’ll pick ten winners at random. Nine will receive a copy of the book, and one lucky winner will receive the grand prize: a copy of the trilogy and a tin of chocolate covered Oreos decorated for Valentine’s Day*.

*Due to the fact that, scientifically speaking, chocolate melts, I have to restrict the chocolate prize to the US and Canada only. But if the winner chosen is outside the US or Canada, I’ll come up with something decadent that doesn’t melt. Promise.

Standard disclaimers: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway aside from the opportunity to type stuff on the internet. The review copy of Play With Me was sent to me by Leslie Kelly for my review usage and was not compensation for this giveaway. Neither was the pony she bought me. Wait, was I not supposed to mention that? His name is Sparkles II. Your milage may vary. Many bags look alike. Mind the gap. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.™

I love curling up in a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa.

  2. Morgan M. says:

I love to lounge around all day in my pajamas, reading a book, of course!

  3. Val says:

    One word: NAPS!!!

That is a more realistic indulgence these days. But if we’re really dreaming I’d go with a dinner consisting of the grilled cheese with roasted tomatoes that has 5 cheeses and toffee-chocolate whipped mousse cream cake at my local grill and tap. Pair that with a nice pinot noir and I’m yours for the night. Mmm hmm. 🙂

  4. Heather says:

Relax under a blanket (which I have wrestled away from the cats) on the chaise with the newest Gabaldon (which I have not yet read!  ARGH!!!).

New idea:  First, create time machine that will give me at least 3 days of uninterrupted time, THEN relax on the chaise with the newest Gabaldon.

  5. Theresa S says:

Curling up under a blanket on the couch with a good book and a cup of coffee. Plus, having the dog and cat resting on my legs for extra warmth! 🙂 Maybe having the Husband give me a back-rub at the same time (one can dream!).

  6. Stephanie says:

I also love curling up undera blanket on the couch with a good book and my husband not around to interupt! : )

  7. Julia T. says:

Right now if I could indulge myself what I would do would be taking advantage of all these cute chemises available for valentines day and buy them all. Then once I was cozy in my new bed time clothes, I would crack open a new romance novel with a my steaming mug of tea/hot chocolate next to me and snuggle in bed while I devoured it.

  8. kmblush says:

Indulging myself occurs when my husband is out of town and I have the house to myself…  fix a delightful meal, prepare 1 or 2 delicious martinis, and then settle down to watch either Sense & Sensibility or Pride & Prejudice.  Ahhhhh…. perfect!

  9. Janet says:

90 minutes deep tissue body massage.  best.thing.ever!

  10. Jim says:

Hamburger, fries, Beer and Woppers (later)

  11. Erin says:

My ideal indulgence – sleep in, chai latte, pedicure, then spend the afternoon snuggled up on the couch with a good book, occasionally popping my toes out to admire them.  🙂

  12. jbean says:

Lately it has been reality TV—there’s nothing like Say Yes to the Dress, Jersey Shore, and Toddlers and Tiaras to give the brain a break.

  13. D.L. says:

Facials and romance novels are my fav indulgences

  14. Carrie Z says:

My favorite way to indulge myself is to lock the door (so the kids can’t barge in). While locked in I do several things – read, paint my nails, eat chocolate that I’ve hidden from the kids, or watch Dr. Who!

  15. Marilyn says:

Tons of chocolate and a good book. It just don’t get no better than that.

  16. Tricia says:

My whole family loves to read, hubby, sons 12 & 8, daughter 10, so we’re always in the middle of a chapter book. My favorite indulgence is reading to them while my daughter brushes my hair. Of course, I have to reciprocate when we’re finished reading, but that’s fun too.

  17. Marcia in OK says:

Indulging for me:  Canceling something I don’t want to do and staying home in my pj’s, snuggled on my wonderful couch.  Remote Control in hand, stack of books nearby, ice cold Coca-Cola with crunch ice, brownies for lunch, and Ice cream for dinner.

  18. Sarah says:

As a grad student with heavily-dictated reading schedules, the greatest indulgence is to snuggle down and read a romance novel all in one go 🙂

  19. Sari says:

Being alone in an empty house, being allowed to sleep in and have ice cream for breakfast and spend the whole day snuggled beneath the covers with the latest book by one of my favorite authors.

  20. Babs says:

Oh, time alone is my biggest indulgence…add in a good book and maybe a glass of wine and I am over the moon.

  21. Diatryma says:

Indulgences: if I feel like I need company and extravagant food, I declare sushi night and go with friends.  This also makes me feel sophisticated and worldly.

If I am just not having a day, I stay in pajamas and my warm fluffy robe for the entire day.  I read easy books.  If I have prepared, I eat blueberry cake.

If I want a symbol of indulgence more than the actual experience, I prepare for a long hot bath.  This begins at dinner, which I have to eat, and includes boiling water on the stove, having ice water handy, and other rituals which help me to not faint.  I suppose the proper way to have a long hot bath is in a much larger tub than I have access to, with very hot water and lots of bubbles, and with a caring and attractive man to converse with me when I want and watch that I don’t get woozy.

  22. Bernita says:

    Indulgence?
A new book by a favourite author and a sufficiency of lobster sandwiches.

  23. Meg says:

wine, a snuggie, candles, and a good book.  those chocolate covered oreos might come in handy, too.

  24. Sabrina says:

As a huge Blaze lover I can’t wait to read this Triology!

I indulge myself with me time – time alone away from the hubby to read a great book and people watch. Some place I can clear my head and not feel guilty if I’m not cleaning or doing something more productive.

My favorite is to take a book to the local coffee shop and hang out all afternoon just reading and watching customers.

  25. Kristina says:

When I just want to have a nice quiet weekend at home all by myself in comfy indulgence I will stop off on the way home from work and buy a new book or two, then hit the movie rental place for a couple of new releases and the grocery store for junk food goodness.  I then get in my jammiest jammies, arrange my haul in the deepest corner of my pit group sofa and make sure the remote is very close.  Usually about sometime Sunday morning I realize I’m a schlub and get up to do chores.  But I’m always supremely relaxed and ready for the rest of the week to come.

Security word:  those45 – those 45 hours are usually the highlight of my weekend.

  26. I love to read in bed and dive intoa box of chocolate and a good gin and tonic.

  27. Elizabeth says:

My favorite way to indulge is to grab whatever I’m currently reading, put on my pjs, climb into bed, and ignore the world.  Throw in a glass of wine and something to snack on, and I don’t think it could get any better than that!

  28. Gail says:

Bake a cake (of the idiot proof one bowl variety so effort is low)-then while the house still smells like baking chocolate curl up with a warm piece of cake, a drink and good book on the couch. Does wonders.

  29. foolserrant says:

Oooh, chocolate and romance!  Count me in for the contest!

  30. BlackVal says:

My indulgence…is my hair.  Whenever I’m bored or having a bad day I’ll go home and do something crazy.  Bleach it out, put in a streak of blue, suddenly become a fiery red-head!
I’m sitting at home with foils in my hair right now, in fact, preparing to put in a little bit of purple.
    Taste the rainbow!

    Captcha: members96, why yes, I have been 96 colors…

  31. Miranda says:

Indulgence is a guilt free day out shopping for sexy clothes and a night cuddled in bed with my hubby. 😉

  32. Chantal says:

A season of “Friends” on the DVD player, a medium pepperoni pizza and a diet Pepsi – heaven!

  33. Kathleen says:

A trip to the bookstore for the latest books on my list followed by going to see a movie that only I would enjoy.

  34. Laying in bed all day to read. I don’t get up unless there is a basic elemental need that requires attention (bathroom, food, ….um yeah that’s really it). The phone goes unanswered and honestly, the food sometimes get’s skipped LOL!

Spam word: works23…this worked a lot better when I was 23 and wasn’t married!

  35. bungluna says:

I indulge myself by cooking elaborate meals, which I then proceed to devour.  Reading is not an indulgence, it’s a necessity!

  36. Missing Teacup says:

Rain outside, fresh-baked cookies, a blanket, and either a book or a movie, depending on how zonked I am.  Not terribly original, but I love it!

  37. Jessi says:

A pint of chocolate sorbet, a roaring fire, flannel pj’s and a stack of romance novels. Especially on a rainy or snowy day.

  38. Melissandre says:

Light indulgence involves reading in bed, possibly accompanied by chai tea or chocolate.

Truly indulgent indulgence is setting aside five hours for a marathon viewing of Pride and Prejudice.  Of course, I must watch in my comfy clothes, with plenty of takeout Chinese food, popcorn, and cookie dough.

  39. Rebecca says:

    Ooooh, indulgences.

A new BBC tv show while eating scones with jam.

Re-reading an old favorite romance novel (of which I have few), and drinking hot chocolate.

Going to our expensive-but-phenomenal neighborhood Thai restaurant.

    Love it! 🙂

  40. MarieC says:

OOO!  Spa pedicure then a shopping excursion for shoes and purses…This would be even better if there are sales and an empty mall.
