And I’d only gotten as far as picking Purim as the holiday and having my requisite Bob character be the heroine’s cranky Persian cat…so yeah; not so much cleverness yet.
Yeah, I was saving up my cleverness for next week too. *Sigh*
I thought it was next Friday also. Saw today’s post, went “WTF?” and whipped something out that came in exactly at 200 words.

Well, I thought it was December 18, too, but my stars must be aligned because I popped my entry off yesterday in the holiday spirit of non-procrastination. NOT! Anyhow, my Bob the Toaster story is in the fray. Thanks for the opportunity!
