More Bosom Sightings

More Bosoms have been sighted. Not yet in bookstores, but this time, in Florida, at the home of RITA-winning author Barb Ferrer, who says the minute the book arrived, the gang grabbed it and took it out back to read.

Have a look: Is that a RITA I see before me?!

I bet the RITA is jotting down notes, like ‘OMGWTFBBQ’ and ‘Those Bitches have gone too far.’ What do you think the RITA lady is writing? Erotic inspirational romance, maybe?

The gargoyle, on the other hand, I don’t know what he’s saying. I can’t even hazard a guess.

Congrats Barb! Prize madness is yours, in the form of wonder twins! No, sorry, Candy’s rack is not part of the prize basket. You win a set of BICHOK magnets from the awesome pile of awesomesauce that is Ninth Moon.com. Enjoy, and happy bosom heaving!

The physical proximity of Stitch to heaving bosoms is inspiring a story in my head.

No, sorry, just a mild seizure.

  2. MargoW says:

Stitch was born to be a romantic hero!

  3. Barb Ferrer says:

    “I’m cute and fluffy too!”

The new battle cry of the hero.

My favorite part of that picture can only be seen in the larger version. and it’s that Opus’ straitjacket is covered in little hearts and the pin reads “Crazy Love.”

  4. SonomaLass says:

Mine is here!  And I have sent my photo to SB Sarah, for her Gallery O’Awesome.

Alas, I can’t take time to really read it yet—big pile of grading to do before 9 a.m..  I can multi-task many things with grading, but not yet reading.  I’m getting bits and pieces, though ; my daughter (a high school senior) keeps picking it up and reading me random bits.  She would just take it away and read it for herself,, but I growl at her when she tries.

  5. Teddypig says:

Wow! What a week! I got BHB and also Pride And Prejudice And Zombies came in the mail yesterday.

  6. Tania says:

Mine came in on Tuesday, I’ve been a slacker and not mentioned it. However, the bookstore staff are holding it hostage, they’re enjoying it and I haven’t picked it up yet. Trying to share the love…

  7. Michele says:

I have heaving bosoms and I’m trying not to laugh out loud whenever I read this brillance. Great book!

  8. Marja says:

First comment here but I have been lurking for a long time. Anyway, now you have at least one sale in Finland. I got an email today that mine has been mailed.

And I don’t even read that much romance.

By the way, one thing I do like to read is romantic suspense, with emphasis on the suspense part (if the protagonist spends more time concentrating on how hot the hero/heroine is and whether he/she wants/doesn’t than trying to solve the mystery/surviving the killer after him/her I will probably quit reading…). So could anyone recommend any good ones?

  9. Bess says:

This may have been reported, but there are Bosoms (heh heh) in Posman Bookstore, NYC (Grand Central Station).  And I GOTS one!  Thanks to Romance Bookseller Extraordinaire Stacy Agdern.

I have no camera, though, so no photos.

  10. God says:

I work at a bookstore so I went to work today to check and see if we were carrying the book. As I reached into my box for my badge I find a staff copy of the book conveniently placed in my box! Hooray!!!! Free bosom goodness!!! My coworkers know me so well.

  11. kris says:

Your book was my first introduction to your awesomeness.  No one should ever have to apologize for what they read—out loud, in the bookstore, while selling books to customers.  I don’t think I and my coworkers have had so much fun while gettting paid for it since—well, ever.  (We also got to say “Magic Hoo Hoo” and “Mighty Wang of Lovin’” out loud, frequently, and it was, like, legal, ‘cause we were just reading the blurb.)

I feel like every person who looks even vaguely self conscious about buying ANY book they want to read should have a copy.  And those who want to put down any one else’s reading habits should be smacked with it.  In fact, you should have printed it in hardcover, so smiting would be more satisfactory.  Maybe I could mylar some iron pilings into the spine for future use . . .

Your book is smart, funny, and gives points well taken.  Thank you for getting it into print, or I might never have seen it and realized what I was missing.
