Beyond Heaving Bosoms Blog Tour 2009: Drunk Writer Talk

So Sarah and I, we’re separated by a whole continent, which is a tragedy and a travesty (tragesty? Travedy? Why do I like stupid portmanteaus so much?). Not only are we unable to hang out in person, we’re unable to make joint appearances at bookstore tours—in fact, the only time we’ll be able to do a signing in person together will be at the RWA National Conference this year.

But lo! Not all is darkness and tears, because we can totally do blog tours together. Huzzah! So here’s the first in a series of blog guest appearances, both joint and separate: Sarah and me at Drunk Writer Talk, where we discuss our hatred of romance novel character shorthand, and how I want to lick Lee Pace. (Answer: slowly and thoroughly.) It’s also a giveaway, so comment on that blog entry, and one of the commenters will receive a copy of the book. I’m going to be the one sending the book out, and if you want, I’ll sign it with wild—perhaps even savage—abandon.

Thanks to the crew at Drunk Writer Talk for hosting us!

Who doesn’t want to lick Lee Pace?

…wait a second. I think I might have lost track of the point of this post…

We loved having you guys. Stop by any time and we’ll discuss who else to lick. I call dibs on Taylor Kitsch.

Oh, and to be eligible for the contest, leave a comment before midnight tomorrow (that’s Wed). We likely won’t be picky about time zones… Although Hawaii might be pushing it.

    Seriously.

Sophie: who needs a point when contemplating the beauty that is Lee Pace?

Other boys I want to lick: Damian Kulash. I very recently saw an OK Go show, and good lord, that is one good-looking hipster boy.

I was so sad when they canceled Pushing Daises, and Lee Pace’s lickability was certainly a factor.

    Kate Diamond says:

    Lee Pace = pretty.

    Show cancellations = major suckage.

Who could resist something that you might sign with wild—let alone, savage—abandon!  Please consider this entry a wish!

    Very funny talk!

Candy: Hmm. I’m not feeling (hurr hurr) Damian Kulash… he looks a little too unhygienic for me.

    StarOpal says:

    Mmm… Lee Pace.

Ever seen The Fall (kinda weird movie, maybe not quite for everyone)? There’s a part in it where he drawls out the word “soul” about eight times and it’s just… oh yeah.

    Karen in Ohio says:

Pushing Daisies was too whimsical for TVLand, i guess, and too original, apparently. I also miss Lee Pace! Never thought of licking him, but now that you mention it…

I was going to say “Mmmm….Lee Pace” but StarOpal beat me to it.

    Nom nom nom.
