David Nygren over at The Urban Elitist asked if I’d be willing to be interviewed, and I said, “Sure, why not?” Then he sent me questions and I had to think about things, like how our site grew to be the community that it is, and what we did to foster that community (huh?), and our decision to run ads, and why we do our own ad management.

Ever wonder if the fact that SBTB is a labor of love has something to do with the direction it has grown and the kind of community you’ve built? I think there’s a definite correlation—you and Candy make decisions about the site based on integrity rather than profit, and I guess like attracts like. Or something. Anyway, great interview.

Sarah, enjoyed the interview and the explanation of the Dominican bitches reference, which always puzzled me.
However, not to divert attention, but this Ronald the personal injury lawyer who posted above, whispered the same dulcet-sweet message to me! He made me feel so special and now I discover that he’s not the personal injury attorney I thought he was! I think this sumbitch is two-timing me.
