High Noon: a Giveaway!

High NoonTaking a break from the DABWAHA madness, Lifetime has offered a contest for y’all to further promote the Nora Roberts Suite of films.

Now, between you and me and the rest of the internet? I don’t know how these things could be better promoted from where I’m sitting. I’ve seen the ads in the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the subway stations I travel in, both uptown and downtown, and on signs on the street. And the posters are definitely eye-catching, if not for the icy color schemes than for the bizarre expressions on some of the actors’ faces. Jerry O’Connell and Lauren Stamile look as if something is going very, very wrong in their world.

Midnight Bayou is on again tonight at 9pm, and then High Noon premieres on 4 April. And you can watch Northern Lights online if you missed it on tv. Note: the film auto-plays when you load the page (GAH). So don’t click that link if you don’t want to start off your movie with a maxi pad commercial or something.

Plus, there’s a sweepstakes. You know, if you like to win stuff.

So, wanna win stuff now? Leave a comment and share what Nora book ought to be the next one made into a movie. I’m partial to the Born In trilogy – that would be some seriously verdant eye candy right there. Feel free to nominate anyone to play the leads, too. I expect everyone will say they want more of Heather Locklear, right? Right?!

I’ll pick a random commenter after 24 hours, and the winner will receive a signed (by Nora) copy of High Noon. So leave a comment. You might get lucky. Or Locklear. Or both.
