    yes so worth it.

  3. Stelly says:

That was adorable.  🙂  The ending was too cute.

  4. Kimberly Anne says:

My heart-strings, they are all aflutter.

I really needed a pick-me-up this morning.  Thank you.

  5. ev says:

For some reason, like last week, the links are not there for me. Just big blank spots. I have no idea why- no one has done anything with the computer.

  6. Cat Marsters says:

    Ev, try:

That is quite adorable.  Almost like a silent film (except for the bit with the talking).

Incidentally, you tagged it England; but those accents sounded Australian, or maybe NZ, to me.

  7. Babs says:

Ohhhh, so sweet. What a charming way to start the day!

  8. OMG, that was the most romantic film I’ve seen this year!  Love it!

  9. Oh, that brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face.  That’s lovely.

  10. earthgirl says:

It was filmed in Melbourne—definitely Australian. (Just makes the guy cuter!)

  11. Chani says:

    That was very sweet!

BTW, reading the credits at the end, it was made in Melbourne, Australia.

  12. KCfla says:

That was lovely! What a nice way to start the weekend 🙂

  13. Ann says:

    Thanks.  I needed that 🙂

  14. rebyj says:

It was very sweet but I kept waiting for them to be hit by a bus at the end. What’s that say about the way my mind works? LOL

  15. Vivienne says:

I liked it. A nice new day start. Thanks. And if you can read italian, come and visit our
blog. ANd …bet: we talk of romance…..

  16. Mary G says:

Lovely film – very cute and sweet.

It’s quite odd, but just the first few frames – especially once he was on the train (even before there was any speech) and I knew it was Melbourne, Australia.  It’s one of the best places I’ve ever lived (been in the USA for 8 years now).  Weird how things that are familiar you recognize from cues you can’t even consciously describe.

  17. Rinda says:

    I. Loved. That. Just loved it.

  18. JewelTones says:

Awwwwwwww look!  Romance isn’t dead!  🙂

I too, at the end, thought, “Oh don’t even think about having one of them hit by a bus!”

I think it’s because in the culture these days, romance = dead.  Like you can’t be happily ever or that the true sign of “love” is death.  Gah.  I like my happy endings happy and with lots and lots of fluff.

  19. Jessa Slade says:

Once again, the power of the written word prevails!

(And, yes, I thought of the bus too. Somebody needs to reset that love = death meme.)

  20. amy lane says:

Wow—I loved that.  A complete love story, no words necessary—thanks!  You’re right—totally worth it!

  21. Rhonda says:

AWWWWWW—I thought that was absolutely adorable. THANK YOU for sharing the link! *swoon* I looooove romance…

  22. That was awesome! Totally made my day.

  23. Dee Tenorio says:

OMG, I cannot tell you how much I needed that! Thank you!!

  24. Keira says:

Wow!!!! I need to go cuddle the heck out of something now – soooo cute!

  25. Carrie Lofty says:

JewelTones: I thought that too! No hitting the nice people with the buses!! Loved that we never get to hear their voices. Makes them more universal and doesn’t spoil the magic.

  26. janicu says:

My cat sat and watched that with me for the whole 12 minutes. I had to share that. I think he liked the music.

  27. Sara says:

I loved this!  A perfect tribute to love and the written word.  I totally watched it twice!

  28. StarOpal says:

    Loved it!

I blame Meet Joe Black for the “getting hit by bus” thing. That and, even in love, you shouldn’t stand in the middle of a busy street.

  29. ShandaLear says:

    Woah.  Made of the cuteness!!!

  30. God says:

    that was so cute!

  31. phadem says:

    Awwww! I loved that!

  32. Lorelie says:

I, for one, did not think of a bus.  🙂 Was just swooning with the adorableness.

@janicu My 20 month old watched it with me.  😀

  33. Lisa Hendrix says:

Utterly charming.  Thank you.  I sent the link to my theater-kid son as a terrific example of miniscule budget movie-making, and to my writer-kid daughter as a a fine bit of storytelling with no dialogue.

  34. KristieJ says:

What a great, well spent 12 minutes.  I thought it was great how they did it all with so few lines.

  35. This was the BEST!

“Sometimes in the middle of an ordinary day, life gives you a fairy tale.”

    Indeed!

  36. Vies says:

There are no words to describe how much I loved that.

And yes… My mind instantly jumped to “OH NO watch out for that bus!” How depressing is that.

  37. Mary Beth says:

That was wonderful! And how cute was Jason? I could just eat him up…

  38. Kate Jackson says:

Aww.  <3 That was so lovely and wonderful.

    I love Friday Videos.

  39. Rainbow Tea says:

Loved it. Can’t wipe the smile off my face now.

I thought of the bus too. But to be fair, I think most people expect the ‘comedy’ twist rather than the sweet and fluffy ending we got. So we were waiting for that ‘Gotcha!’ moment.
