First, from Katherine, a South African band called Freshlyground, and a video that’s just adorable.
And if that wasn’t enough cuddly to start off your weekend, ev suggests a heaping repeat viewing of the following heaping dose of the cuteness:
And finally, since people creating anything makes me ridiculously happy, thanks to Barbara we have a link to a video that is really, really cool.
Check out the Morphology of Desire, a project of filmmaker Robert Arnold.
Have a happy weekend!
Those videos were great! My mood just got a wonderful boost. 🙂
The Morphology of Desire was quite interesting. We know that romance novel covers are quite similar, but that similar? Wow.
Okay, thank you so much for making me cry first thing in the morning with the Freshlyground video. That was way too adorable.
The Morphology of Desire was something else. Somewhere in all of those pictures was a Greek tycoon and his virgin secretary…
Thank you for introducing me to an awesome band. Beautiful, adorable, sweet. Thanks.
Hey, thanks for posting that video! I’m glad you liked it. -Betsy (Katherine is my fist name, Betsy a nickname from my middle name, Elizabeth…my parents just wanted to make it complicated like that)
Awww!!! So sweet. Thanks for putting my head on straight this morning with that adorable video. I can’t be cranky now.
I loved it! A sweet love song, and empowering for all of us who look like real women!
Hey! That’s footage from Milo and Otis! Extra footage that I’ve never seen before!
I love that movie.
And the red/green music video was aDORable.
Thank you, those were both warm and fuzzy videos! Yay, cuteness.
DUDE! Morphology of Desire is beyond…well…heaving bosoms! That’s too cool. The other two videos are “awwwww” worthy, too. Happy Friday!
The Freshlyground video is so sweet! I loved that thanks!
What a great way to start the morning, thank you.
The Fleshlyground video was so adorable it made me “awww” out loud, and the song was cute too. The Morphology of Love clip was funky, but neat.
spamword: single55. Nope, not me on either account, but nice attempt at a date ad!
Morphology of Desire – very clever. The fawn and cat – wonderful and tear-worthy. Red/green – also very creative and a great song for all of us real women out there with potbellies to match – better for lovin’ damn straight!
All of romance contained in 4:22 and a couple hundred frames. And it takes me 100K. Thanks for the inspiration.
This may be my new fav band. and I’m going to South Africa next week for work so hope I get a chance to buy a couple of CDs.
I love Freshlyground. Touch In the Night is one of my favorite songs. I love the whole 1940’s jazzy sound of Zolani Mahola’s voice. The video is very romantic and sweet.
I love that song! It’s so cute and catchy. And it’s available on iTunes as well, so now I have it for my car rides. Sweet! Thanks for putting that up, I love finding new and awesome music.
Loved the Freshly Ground video and especially that song! Even though you know how it will end, it was nice to see it happen!
The romance one is just very strange althoug I enjoyed it. (Although it was kind of voyeristic!) Talk about formulaic- someone needs to do something different with those danged covers!!
Heh, that’s exactly what I thought! Sweet.
And The Morphology of Desire is fucking brilliant. I want that playing on my Facebook page!!
Just when I thought I was going to have to turn to Country Music for some decent tunes, you introduce me to Freshlyground. Love that bluesy voice, love the message (!) and loved the video. I’m off to online shopping for some cd’s!
My dh made me turn off Wonderful World because it makes him cry. Will watch when the big pansy goes grocery shopping lol
And Morphology of Desire is a keeper. I’ve got to put it on MySpace even though I never use MySpace anymore. I just need to know where to find it!
Have a happy weekend my fellow bitches!
I love the video “Pot Belly,” it’s so cute and sweet that I’ve put it on my blog 😀
O. Henry. How nice. And the animals were lovely.

That Freshlyground video was adorable! And gorgeous.
The apartment’s latest dose of cute is the opening sequence for a show called Moyashimon—it’s an anime, but the opening bit is live-action/CGI. Cute dancing microbes.
THANK YOU! That video rocked. I ran to my iTunes and got all their albums. I’ll be using them in the classroom. I need up beat music and so do the kiddos.
The morphing thing scared me. Like creepy “I MUST TURN THIS OFF!” scared me.
