Books On Sale

Free Deanna Raybourn Title for Kindle

Book Cover You want free Kindle book? You can has free Kindle book.

Harlequin is giving away Deanna Raybourn’s Silent in the Sanctuary for Kindle users – quite the enticement since the third volume of the series, Silent on the Moor comes out on 1 March 2009.

But wait, there’s more! The Kindle edition for both Silent in the Santuary and the sequel are enriched editions – extra content! Silent in the Sanctuaryhas photos of the Harlequin Second Life ball last year, a plum pudding recipe, a history of Belmont Abbey and the teaser for Silent on the Moor. Silent on the Moor is enriched with a cast of characters, a letter from Lady Julia Grey and a journal excerpt by Deanna Raybourn.

So smart. How many people have gone out to buy – or waited for – a DVD release with more extra features, particularly in effects-heavy films like the Lord of the Rings trilogy or any of the Pixar movies? Extra features are a key component to digital packaging, and it’s way damn smart to start including that in Harlequin e-books. Free ebook of a series + extra features + new sequel in a matter of days? WIN. WIN. WINNNN.
